Abstract Objective We evaluated the association between monocyte chemotactic protein-1 (MCP-1) and osteoarthritis. Methods searched PubMed, Cochrane Library, Embase, Web of Science, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), VIP (Chinese database), Wan Fang database) (before May 10, 2020), with no language limitations. STATA version 12.0 Revman 5.3 were used for data analysis. The standard mean difference (SMD) corresponding 95% confidence intervals (95% CIs) calculated. Nine clinical studies, including 376 patients osteoarthritis 306 healthy controls, evaluated. Results combined SMDs MCP-1 expression levels suggested that was significantly higher in than controls (SMD = 1.97, CI 0.66–3.28, p 0.003). Moreover, subgroup analysis implied from both Asians mixed populations had whereas Caucasians did not ( > 0.05). Serum 2.83, 1.07–4.6, < 0.00001) controls; however, this significant synovial fluid cartilage tissue. Subgroup ethnicity showed Chinese, Dutch, Brazilian control groups, although differences observed American Italian subgroups. Conclusions Our meta-analysis demonstrated may play important roles progression serve as a potential biomarker diagnosis

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic systemic inflammatory disorder which mainly affects small joints, occurs most commonly in middle-aged adults, and can be fatal severe cases. The exact etiology of RA remains unknown. However, uncontrolled expression pro-inflammatory cytokines chemokines contribute to the pathogenesis RA.In current study, we assessed potential serum concentrations interleukin (IL)-1β, IL-6, tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α, IL-8, C-C motif chemokine ligand (CCL)5 as early predictive markers for addition clinical examination, blood samples were collected from 100 Saudi patients recently diagnosed with basic serological tests, including rheumatoid (RF), C-reactive protein (CRP), erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR). Sera 32 healthy individuals used controls. Specific enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was quantify IL-1β, TNF-α, CCL5 levels samples. Our results indicated that RF, CRP, ESR higher compared Furthermore, CCL5, but not significantly increased controls.Overall, findings suggested biomarkers diagnosis RA.

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic inflammatory disease characterised by joint pain and swelling, synovial hyperplasia, cartilage damage, bone destruction. The mechanisms of dendritic cell (DC) T cell-mediated crosstalk have gradually become focus attention. DCs regulate the proliferation differentiation CD4+ subtypes through different cytokines, surface molecules, antigen presentation. DC-T also blocks presentation DCs, ultimately maintaining immune tolerance. mainly involves chemokines, molecules (TonEBP, NFATc1), PD-L1/PD-1 signalling axis, TGF-β axis. In addition, in RA affected glycolysis, reactive oxygen species, vitamin D, other factors. These factors lead to formation an extremely complex regulatory network involving various mechanisms. This article reviews key targets elucidates mechanism provide basis for treatment patients with RA.

Abstract This study aimed to investigate the serum and expression levels of C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 9 (CXCL9), CXCL10, CXCL11, CXC receptor 3 (CXCR3) in minor salivary glands (MSGs) patients with primary Sjögren’s syndrome (pSS), explore their correlations clinical parameters. Serum samples from 49 diagnosed pSS, 33 rheumatoid arthritis (RA), 30 healthy controls (HCs) were collected for measurements CXCL9, CXCR3. Additionally, CXCL MSG tissues measured 41 who underwent biopsy. Correlations between CXCL/CXCR serum/MSG factors/salivary scintigraphy parameters analyzed. CXCL11 CXCR3 showed statistically significant differences among pSS RA HCs (serum pSS:RA:HC = 235.6 ± 500.1 pg/mL:90.0 200.3 pg/mL:45.9 53.6 pg/mL; p 0.041, CXCR3, 3.27 1.32 ng/mL:3.29 1.17 ng/mL:2.00 1.12 ng/mL; < 0.001). CXCL10 a difference (64.5 54.2 pg/mL) (18.6 18.1 pg/mL, 0.001), while CXCL9 did not exhibit groups. Correlation analysis factors revealed that positively correlated erythrocyte sedimentation rate ( r 0.524, 0.001 0.707, 0.001, respectively), total protein 0.375, 0.008 0.535, globulin 0.539, 0.639, European Alliance Associations Rheumatology SS Disease Activity Index 0.305, 0.033 0.321, 0.025). negatively Schirmer test score − 0.354, 0.05), biopsy focus 0.612, 0.02). In tissue, percentage infiltrating CXCL9-positive cells was highest (75.5%), followed by (29.1%) (27.9%). correlation analysis, CXCL11-expressing inversely related mean washout on gland 0.448, 0.007). Our highlights distinct tissue patterns emphasizing CXCL9’s potential early diagnosis. suggests are indicators disease progression, warranting further investigation into roles autoimmune disorders beyond pSS.
