Self-tracking has become omnipresent in our daily lives. By providing insights into how work practices relate to performance or (physical and mental) health, quantified-self technologies (QST) have also made their way the world of work. Contemporary QST process personal data from multiple sources help people gain a better knowledge about themselves at According humanistic psychology, humans an initial drive grow self-actualize, that is, version themselves. A key step towards self-actualization is accepting oneself without meeting certain conditions thus questioning so called "conditions worth" (e.g., I am valued person if good my job). In this article, we discuss possible effects workplace. We raise question, could be either used as tool locate growth outside capitalist labor or, on contrary, create worth promote "entrepreneurial self" – self which driven constantly improve therefore vulnerable for self-exploitation. development, design choices determine whether they are more designed toward idea entrepreneurial self. Thus, conclude article by formulating implications QST, cluster along actors purpose technology (Who? Why?), specifics context (Where?), temporal aspects usage (When?), elements (How?).

Traditional measures of clinical status and physiology have generally been based in health care settings, episodic, short duration, performed at rest. Wearable biosensors provide an opportunity to obtain continuous non-invasive physiologic data from patients with congenital heart disease (CHD) the real-world setting, over longer durations, across varying levels activity. However, there are significant technical limitations use wearable CHD. Here, we review current applications CHD; how research uses must consider various CHD physiologies; challenges developing for special considerations digital biomarkers

Background: Artificial intelligence (AI)-based chatbots have shown promise in providing counseling to patients with metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD). While ChatGPT3.5 has demonstrated the ability comprehensively answer MASLD-related questions English, its accuracy remains suboptimal. Whether language influences these results is unclear. This study aims assess ChatGPT’s performance as a tool for Italian MASLD patients. Methods: Thirteen experts rated accuracy, completeness and comprehensibility of answering 15 using six-point three-point Likert’s scale. Results: Mean scores were 4.57 ± 0.42, 2.14 0.31 2.91 0.07, respectively. The physical activity domain achieved highest mean completeness, whereas specialist referral lowest. Overall, Fleiss’s coefficient concordance across all was 0.016, 0.075 −0.010, Age academic role evaluators did not influence scores. significantly different from our previous focusing on English. Conclusion: Language does appear affect provide comprehensible complete patients, but suboptimal certain domains.

Mental health symptoms are commonly discovered in primary care. Yet, these settings not set up to provide psychological treatment. Digital interventions can play a crucial role stepped care management of patients' where patients offered low intensity intervention, and treatment evolves incorporate providers if needed. Though digital often use smartphone wearable sensor data, little is known about desires data manage mental symptoms. In 10 interviews with depression anxiety, we explored their: symptom self-management, current desired comfort sharing such providers. Findings support the health, yet they also highlight misalignment patient needs efforts sensors. We outline considerations for future research, including extending design thinking wraparound services that may be necessary truly reduce healthcare burden.

Background The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the growing relevance of telehealth in health care. Assessing care and nursing students’ competencies is crucial for its successful integration into education practice. Objective We aimed to assess perceived knowledge, skills, attitudes, experiences. In addition, we examine preferences content teaching methods within their curricula. Methods conducted a cross-sectional web-based study May 2022. A project-specific questionnaire, developed refined through iterative feedback face-validity testing, addressed topics such as demographics, personal perceptions, professional experience with solicited input on potential course content. Statistical analyses were surveys at least 50% completion rate, including descriptive statistics categorical variables, graphical representation results, Kruskal Wallis tests central tendencies subgroup analyses. Results total 261 students from 7 bachelor’s 4 master’s programs participated study. Most expressed interest (180/261, 69% very or rather interested) recognized importance (215/261, 82.4% important). However, most participants reported limited knowledge applications concerning profession (only 7/261, 2.7% stated profound knowledge) active various (between 18/261, 6.9% 63/261, 24.1%). Statistically significant differences found between regarding (P=.005), (P<.001), after (P=.004). Practical training devices, software, apps case examples patient groups important future preferred both interdisciplinary program-specific courses. Conclusions This emphasizes need integrate curricula, state positive attitudes but seem be not adequately prepared implementation. Background Mobile health (mHealth) uses mobile technologies to promote wellness and help disease management. Although mHealth solutions used in the clinical setting have typically been medical-grade devices, passive active sensing capabilities of consumer-grade devices like smartphones activity trackers potential bridge information gaps regarding patients’ behaviors, environment, lifestyle, other ubiquitous data. Individuals are increasingly adopting solutions, which facilitate collection patient-generated data (PGHD). Health care professionals (HCPs) could potentially use these support chronic conditions.
