Abstract Aims The aim of the study was to explore knowledge and unmet informational needs candidates for left ventricular assist device (LVAD), as well patients, caregivers, family members, by analysing social media data from MyLVAD.com website. Given the rapid development of social media, effective extraction and analysis contents media for health care have attracted widespread attention from providers. As far as we know, most reviews focus on application there is a lack that integrate methods analyzing information care.This scoping review aims to answer following 4 questions: (1) What types research been used investigate care, (2) what analyze existing (3) indicators should be applied collect evaluate characteristics (4) are current problems directions care?A Preferred Reporting Items Systematic Reviews Meta-Analyses guidelines was conducted. We searched PubMed, Web Science, EMBASE, Cumulative Index Nursing Allied Health Literature, Cochrane Library period 2010 May 2023 primary studies focusing care. Two independent reviewers screened eligible against inclusion criteria. A narrative synthesis included conducted.Of 16,161 identified citations, 134 (0.8%) were in this review. These 67 (50.0%) qualitative designs, 43 (32.1%) quantitative 24 (17.9%) mixed designs. Social media has changed the digital health landscape, altering how public consumes medical information and sparking concerns about reliability of information. This study aims to assess quality online related bullous pemphigoid by evaluating content type, reliability, user engagement across different social platforms, using Quality Evaluation Scoring Tool (QUEST) Discerning Written Consumer Health Information (DISCERN) questionnaires, quantitative tools designed measure quality. Among six platforms analyzed, educational was most prevalent on YouTube (Google LLC, Mountain View, California, United States) (90.0%, n=10) Threads (Meta Platforms, Inc., Menlo Park, (100.0%, n=3), while TikTok (ByteDance Ltd., Beijing, China) (n=20) featured 60.0% 30.0% patient experience content. X (X Corp., Bastrop, Texas, (n=18) demonstrated highest with a mean QUEST score 16.8 (SD: 4.5) DISCERN 28.9 6.7). In contrast, had lowest 9.0 3.0) 20.1 3.0).
