BACKGROUND Burnout, anxiety, and depression continue to affect physicians, postgraduate medical trainees, students globally in Canada particularly after the COVID-19 pandemic. OBJECTIVE The primary goal of this project is design, implement, monitor, evaluate a daily supportive SMS text messaging program (Wellness4MDs, Global Psychological e-Health Foundation). aims reduce prevalence severity burnout, symptoms among Canada. METHODS This longitudinal study represents multistakeholder, mixed methods, multiyear implementation science project. Project evaluation will be conducted through quantitative prospective approach using paired sample comparison, naturalistic cross-sectional controlled satisfaction surveys. Prevalence estimates for psychological problems would based on baseline data from self-completed validated rating scales. Additional collected at designated time points comparison. Outcome measures assessed standardized scales, including Maslach Burnout Inventory burnout symptoms, 9-item Patient Health Questionnaire 7-item Generalized Anxiety Disorder scale anxiety World Organization–Five Well-Being Index. Background: Public safety personnel experience various mental health conditions due to their work’s complex and demanding nature. There are barriers seeking support treatment; hence, providing innovative cost-effective interventions can help improve symptoms in public personnel. Objective: The study aimed evaluate the impact of Text4PTSI on depression, anxiety, trauma, stress-related symptoms, resilience after six months supportive text message intervention. Methods: subscribed received daily psychoeducational SMS messages for months. Participants were invited complete standardized self-rated web-based questionnaires assess posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), measured Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9), Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 scale (GAD-7), Posttraumatic Stress Disorder Checklist-Civilian Version (PCL-C), Brief Resilience Scale (BRS), respectively. assessment was conducted at baseline (enrolment) weeks, three months, enrollment. Results: One hundred thirty-one subscribers participated program, eighteen completed both any follow-up survey. A total 31 participants survey 107 surveys recorded all time points. prevalence psychological problems among as follows: likely major depressive (MDD) 47.1%, generalized anxiety (GAD) 37.5%, low 22.2%, PTSD 13.3%. At post-intervention, MDD, GAD, respondents reduced; however, a statistically significant reduction reported only MDD (−35.3%, X2 (1) = 2.55, p 0.03). no change between post-intervention. decrease mean scores PHQ-9, GAD-7, PCL-C, BRS from post-intervention by 25.8%, 24.7%, 9.5%, 0.3%, However, GAD-7 with effect size (t (15) 2.73, 0.02). Public safety personnel (PSP) are exposed to traumatic events due their work environments, which increases the risk of mental health challenges. Providing effective and evidence-based interventions, such as SMS text messaging programs, can improve PSP's overall well-being with high user satisfaction rates.This study aims evaluate users' satisfaction, receptiveness, perceptions a cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)-based supportive intervention (Text4PTSI).Participants self-subscribed Text4PTSI received unidirectional behavioral-based messages for 6 months. Participants completed web-based survey delivered via message at enrollment, weeks, 3 months, months post enrollment. Respondents' perception receptivity program were assessed using questionnaire measured on 5-point Likert scale. Data collected categorical variables, was scale from 0 100.There 131 subscribers program; however, only 81 responded survey, producing 100 responses across follow-up time points. The mean score 85.12 (SD 13.35). More than half agreed or strongly that helped participants cope anxiety (79/100 responses, 79%), depressive symptoms (72/100 72%), loneliness (54/100 54%). Similarly, most made respondents feel connected support system, improved (84/100 84%), felt more hopeful about managing concerns substance use (82 out 82%), enhance quality life (77/100 77%). available suggest majority always read took reflect each (75/100 75%), returned once (76/100 76%).PSP who surveys reported appreciation receiving during 6-month program. service provided could pave way ensuring better uptake potential effectiveness end users.

Background Cancer is the leading cause of death in Canada, and living with cancer generates psychological demands, including depression anxiety among survivors caregivers. Text4Hope-Cancer Care SMS text messaging–based service was provided to people caregivers during COVID-19 pandemic support their mental health. Objective The aim this study examine clinical effectiveness satisfaction addressing health conditions Methods conducted Alberta, Canada. People who were diagnosed or receiving treatment self-subscribed receive 3-months daily supportive cognitive behavioral therapy–based messages a web-based survey sent at designated time points collect nonclinical data. Hospital Anxiety Depression scale (HADS) used changes symptoms after service. Satisfaction assessed using Likert scale. Descriptive inferential statistics used, test significance considered P≤.05. Results Overall, 107 individuals subscribed service, 93 completed program (completion rate 93/107, 86.9%). A significant improvement (HADS-Anxiety [HADS-A] subscale) reported 3 months (t11=2.62; P=.02), medium effect size (Hedges g=0.7), but not (HADS-Depression [HADS-D] subscale). Subscribers expressed high agreed that has helped them cope improve quality life. Physician burnout is a multibillion-dollar issue in the United States. Despite its prevalence, difficult to accurately measure. Institutions generally rely on periodic surveys that are subject recall bias.
