BACKGROUND Neurological rehabilitation is technologically evolving rapidly, resulting in new treatments for patients. Stroke, one of the most prevalent conditions neurorehabilitation, has been a particular focus recent years. However, patients often need help with physical and cognitive constraints, whereby domain neurorehabilitation does not exploit existing potential. OBJECTIVE This pilot study investigated use immersive VR undergoing inpatient neurorehabilitation. Background With the global rise in Alzheimer disease (AD), early screening for mild cognitive impairment (MCI), which is a preclinical stage of AD, paramount importance. Although biomarkers such as cerebrospinal fluid amyloid level and magnetic resonance imaging have been studied, they limitations, high cost invasiveness. Digital markers to assess by analyzing behavioral data collected from digital devices daily life can be new alternative. In this context, we developed “virtual kiosk test” MCI when using virtual environment. Objective We aimed investigate key features test that could distinguish patients with healthy controls statistical significance. Also, focused on developing machine learning model capable based these features. Methods A total 51 participants comprising 20 31 were recruited 2 neurologists university hospital. The performed test—developed our group—where recorded various hand eye movements. Based time series data, computed following 4 features: movement speed, proportion fixation duration, completion, number errors. To compare between MCI, independent-samples 2-tailed t tests used. Results test, all showed statistically significant differences Compared controls, had slower speed (t49=3.45; P=.004), lower duration (t49=2.69; P=.04), longer completion (t49=–3.44; greater errors (t49=–3.77; P=.001). All then support vector MCI. Our achieved 93.3% accuracy, 100% sensitivity, 83.3% specificity, 90% precision, 94.7% F1-score. BACKGROUND Cognitive impairment is a major cause of disability in patients who have suffered from stroke, and cognitive rehabilitation interventions show promise for improving memory. AIM To examine the effectiveness virtual reality (VR) non-VR (NVR) techniques memory after stroke. METHODS An extensive thorough search was executed across five pertinent electronic databases: Cumulative Index to Nursing Allied Health Literature; MEDLINE (PubMed); Scopus; ProQuest Central; Google Scholar. As global cancer incidence and mortality rise, digital twin technology in precision medicine offers new opportunities for treatment.
