The COVID-19 pandemic has underscored the critical importance of adaptable and resilient public health systems capable rapid response to emerging crises. This paper synthesizes lessons learned from vaccination campaign explores strategies enhance vaccine uptake in post-pandemic era. Key challenges identified include logistical, economic, sociocultural, policy dimensions that impact efforts, particularly low-resource settings. analysis highlights need for supply chains, effective communication, community engagement, equitable access healthcare resources. development deployment mRNA vaccines exemplify potential innovative technologies, though trust acceptance remain crucial. Strategies such as partnerships with local leaders, tailored messaging, integration digital tools are essential combating hesitancy. By applying these insights, future campaigns can be more efficient, equitable, resilient, ultimately improving outcomes globally. aims inform practice, ensuring evidence based context specific, thus better preparing challenges.

Abstract Background Negative attitudes toward vaccines and suboptimal vaccination rates among African American Black (Black) Americans have been well documented, due to a history of medical racism human rights violations in the United States. However, digital health interventions (DHI) shown address racial disparities several outcomes, such as cardiovascular disease, HIV, maternal health. The Tough Talks COVID (TT-C) study was randomized controlled trial DHI designed empower young adults States South make informed, autonomous decisions about COVID-19 vaccine uptake by addressing structural barriers misinformation vaccines. Objective Our objective identify subgroups with various at baseline determine for which TT-C most impactful. Methods aged 18‐29 years Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina who were unvaccinated or insufficiently vaccinated against completed three online surveys over months (N=360). Latent profile analysis used based on general baseline, including hesitancy, confidence, knowledge, conspiracy beliefs, mistrust. Logistic regression examine associations between latent profiles uptake, linear changes post-randomization. Modification DHI’s effects assessed profiles. Results Three emerged: vaccine-receptive (n=124), vaccine-neutral (n=155), vaccine-resistant (n=81). Political affiliation, income, social support, recent flu differed significantly ( P <.05). Vaccine not different subgroup, TTC-DHI did differing across subgroups. had strongest effect—with statistically significant measures association <.05) interaction values P< .10)—among compared improving beliefs months: difference: −0.40 (−0.76 −0.37), 0.39 (0.02 0.75), −0.47 (−0.86 −0.09); neutral −0.36 (−0.52 −0.19), 0.35 (0.18 0.51), −0.24 (−0.44 −0.03). no these outcomes subgroup. Abstract Background Human papillomavirus (HPV) is one of the most prevalent sexually transmitted infections in United States; however, vaccination uptake falls far below goal 80% population set forth by Healthy People 2030. Specifically, within LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning) population, HPV adherence remains a complex issue. Due to widespread use technology young adult digital health tools such as storytelling (DST) have been promoted an effective way increase uptake. Objective The purpose this study was conduct formative inquiry into (1) what components should be considered for inclusion documentary tailored sexual and gender minority populations (2) dissemination channels would more impact completion vaccine among populations. Additionally, aims provide insight perceived risk its implications on population. Methods A mixed methods conducted between January 2021 September Atlanta, Georgia. Intake surveys were distributed individuals identifying members community examine demographic characteristics, barriers adherence, current status. Perceived assessed using 5 statements 1 7 Likert scale. Key informant interviews via Zoom with participants who completed intake consented interviewed. Transcripts coded analyzed constant comparison method emergent themes surrounding DST campaigns. Results Forty-seven survey interview. total 13 out 47 (27.7%) indicated that they not sure when provided statement “I am likely get HPV”, whereas 12 (29.8%) strongly disagreed at high getting HPV” presented “HPV serious threat quality my life.” 14 responded severe health” agreed sex Qualitative analysis level stigma experienced interactions private practitioners. Major hesitancy concerns about age, reduced risk, lack provider recommendation. Participant revealed “Real Outcomes,” “Accurate Representation” main Conclusions Creation intervention include information real outcomes accurate representation.
