Abstract This study introduces the "ChatGPT Usage Scale for Foreign Language Learners," designed to evaluate usage of AI chatbots in language learning. The scale was developed based on a comprehensive literature review and expert evaluations, ensuring strong theoretical foundation content validity. It comprises three sub-dimensions Usability, Learning, Development that collectively explain 62.896% total variance, exceeding standard expectations. Data were collected from 1006 university students (657 female, 349 male) foreign departments at Turkish state universities during 2023–2024 fall semester. demonstrated excellent internal consistency (Cronbach’s Alpha = 0.93) validity, supported by robust Confirmatory Factor Analysis results. A test–retest analysis with subset participants confirmed scale's reliability over time. Future research should apply this measurement tool diverse educational contexts enhance its generalizability further refine psychometric properties, providing deeper insights into role tools education.

Abstract Artificial intelligence models, like ChatGPT, have the potential to revolutionize higher education when implemented properly. This study aimed investigate factors influencing university students’ attitudes and usage of ChatGPT in Arab countries. The survey instrument “TAME-ChatGPT” was administered 2240 participants from Iraq, Kuwait, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan. Of those, 46.8% heard 52.6% used it before study. results indicated that a positive attitude were determined by ease use, towards technology, social influence, perceived usefulness, behavioral/cognitive influences, low risks, anxiety. ChatGPT, a state-of-the-art artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot, has gained considerable attention as transformative yet controversial tool for enhancing teaching and learning experiences. Several reviews numerous articles have been written about harnessing ChatGPT in education since its release on November 30, 2022. Besides summarising strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats (SWOT) identified previous systematic of research, this review aims to develop new understanding influence student engagement by synthesising the existing related research using three-dimensional framework comprising behavioural, emotional, cognitive aspects. We searched relevant databases included 72 empirical studies published within one year ChatGPT's initial release. AI-powered chatbots hold great promise for enhancing learning experiences and outcomes in today's rapidly evolving education system. This mixed-method study explores the acceptance of ChatGPT as a tool for Metacognitive Self-Regulated Learning (MSRL) among academics. Despite growing attention towards metacognitive learning tool, there is need comprehensive understanding factors influencing its in academic settings. Engaging 300 preservice teachers through ChatGPT-based scenario activity and utilizing convenience sampling, this administered questionnaire based on proposed Technology Acceptance Model at UTM University's School Education. To examine and consolidate literature regarding the advantages disadvantages of utilizing ChatGPT in healthcare education research. We searched seven electronic databases (PubMed/Medline, CINAHL, Embase, PsycINFO, Scopus, ProQuest Dissertations Theses Global, Web Science) from November 2022 until September 2023. This scoping review adhered to Arksey O'Malley's framework followed reporting guidelines outlined PRISMA-ScR checklist. For analysis, we employed Thomas Harden's thematic synthesis framework. A total 100 studies were included. An overarching theme, "Forging Future: Bridging Theory Integration ChatGPT" emerged, accompanied by two main themes (1) Enhancing Healthcare Education, Research, Writing with ChatGPT, (2) Controversies Concerns about Education Research Writing, subthemes. Abstract ChatGPT’s role in creating multiple-choice questions (MCQs) is growing but the validity of these artificial-intelligence-generated unclear. This literature review was conducted to address urgent need for understanding application ChatGPT generating MCQs medical education.
