Abstract This review examines the current state of Mpox awareness and prevention strategies in India, with a particular focus on rural underserved communities. As Mpox, virus endemic to West Central Africa, begins spread globally, including effective public health responses become increasingly critical. The evaluates various campaigns, government-led programs, NGO initiatives, digital traditional media efforts, community-based outreach. It highlights role educational initiatives such as school training for local workers, use mobile units improving preventive measures. Challenges socioeconomic barriers, limited healthcare infrastructure, misinformation, language literacy issues are discussed. also assesses effectiveness through success stories, identified gaps, community feedback. Recommendations provided enhancing prevention, emphasizing need stronger partnerships, technological integration, culturally tailored communication, increased capacity building workers. Future research directions suggested, focusing bridging gaps awareness, developing sustainable policy strategies, integrating broader initiatives. underscores importance comprehensive approach addressing combining government engagement, innovative achieve lasting impact.
