Effectiveness of Public Health Campaigns on Mpox Awareness and Prevention in Rural India

Abstract This review examines the current state of Mpox awareness and prevention strategies in India, with a particular focus on rural underserved communities. As Mpox, virus endemic to West Central Africa, begins spread globally, including effective public health responses become increasingly critical. The evaluates various campaigns, government-led programs, NGO initiatives, digital traditional media efforts, community-based outreach. It highlights role educational initiatives such as school training for local workers, use mobile units improving preventive measures. Challenges socioeconomic barriers, limited healthcare infrastructure, misinformation, language literacy issues are discussed. also assesses effectiveness through success stories, identified gaps, community feedback.
