Prostate cancer is the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths among male population worldwide, its incidence and lethality steadily increase. Nuclear enriched abundant transcript 1 (NEAT1) a long non-coding RNA (ncRNA), located on chromatin 11. It has been found to function as an oncogene in different kinds cancer. However, until now, clinical significance NEAT1 not investigated prostate cancer.Paired tissue specimens matched normal tissues were obtained from 130 patients with between 2014 2019 at The Fourth Affiliated Hospital Zhejiang University, School Medicine. Group means compared using Student t test. Chi-Squared test was used for analyzing correlation expression clinicopathologic features patients. Survival data analyzed Kaplan-Meier estimate log-rank P calculated. Cox regression model univariate multivariate analysis factors related overall survival.The increased significantly tissues, adjacent (P < .001). associated TNM stage = .005), lymph nodes metastasis distant metastasis(P .003), Gleason score Overall survival rate lower high level than those low NEAT1a .048). Abstract The gastric cancer (GC) patients commonly have a poor prognosis due to its invasiveness and distant metastasis. Growing evidence proved that aberrant long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) expression contributes tumor development progression. LncRNA SNHG15 has been reported be involved in many different kinds of cancer, while role GC remains unclear. In the present study, we found was up-regulated tissues cell lines. Silencing suppressed proliferation migration, invasion promoted apoptosis AGS cells. More importantly, microRNA-506-5p (miR-506-5p) predicted as direct target by binding 3′-UTR further verified using luciferase reporter assay. Meanwhile, results rescue experiments revealed knockdown miR-506-5p reversed functional effects silenced proliferation, apoptosis. conclusion, our findings executed oncogenic properties progression through targeting miR-506-5p, which might provide novel for treatment.
