Endometriosis
is
a
chronic,
complex,
systemic
inflammatory
condition
that
impacts
approximately
190
million
girls
and
women
worldwide,
significantly
impacting
their
quality
of
life.
The
effective
management
endometriosis
requires
multi-disciplinary
holistic
approach,
one
includes
surgical
medical
management,
such
as
laparoscopy
chronic
plan,
well
dietary,
nutritional,
lifestyle
adjunct
interventions,
pelvic
pain
physiotherapy
acupuncture.
There
growing
evidence
to
support
the
role
dietary
nutritional
interventions
in
endometriosis-related
gastrointestinal
symptoms.
However,
implementation
these
often
not
regulated,
patients
with
adopt
self-management
strategies.
Diet
nutrition
can
modulate
key
players
integral
pathophysiology
endometriosis,
as,
but
limited
to,
inflammation,
estrogen,
microbiome.
it
unclear
whether
diet
plays
prevention
or
onset
endometriosis.
In
this
review,
we
discuss
three
pathogenesis
endometriosis-inflammation,
microbiome-and
summarize
how
influence
mechanisms,
consequently,
progression
manifestation
major
need
for
evidence-based,
non-invasive
debilitating
disease,
may
be
suitable.
