The management and monitoring of land use in geothermal fields are crucial for the sustainable utilization water resources, as well striking a balance between production renewable energy preservation environment. This study primarily compared Support Vector Machine (SVM) Random Forest (RF) machine learning methods, using satellite imagery from Landsat 8 Sentinel 2 2021 2023, to monitor Patuha area. objective is improve practices by accurately categorizing different cover types. comparative analysis assessed efficacy these techniques upholding sustainability regions. examined application SVM RF techniques, with particular emphasis on parameter refinement model assessment, enhance classification accuracy. By employing Kernlab e1071 algorithm comparison, research sought produce precise Land Use Model Map, which underscores significance advanced analytical environmental management. approach was utmost importance improving reinforcing practices. evaluation methods demonstrates superiority terms accuracy, stability, precision, particularly intricate urban settings, hence establishing it preferred tasks demanding high reliability. areas alignment Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 6 15, fosters conservation ecosystems. Abstract Greenhouses play a key role in sustainable agriculture by addressing food security, climate change, and resource challenges. They enable year-round crop production under controlled conditions but are often labor-intensive resource-inefficient. Advances Internet of Things (IoT) technologies offer solutions automating processes like monitoring, regulation, irrigation control. These optimize use, reduce waste, enhance sustainability. This paper introduces an IoT-driven framework combining sensor technology cloud computing to greenhouse operations. Implemented smart prototype, the includes web, desktop, mobile applications for real-time operational demonstrate IoT's potential precision promoting efficiency, sustainability, scalability. The also supports AI-driven data collection analysis, contributing smarter decision-making. practical, cost-effective, eco-friendly solution addresses growing demands modern agriculture, advancing sustainability technological integration farming practices.

Food safety has emerged as a paramount concern for both Vietnamese consumers and the government. However, limited data are available on food management systems in Viet Nam. This study identified significant gaps good agricultural hygienic practices along fresh produce chain (farmers traditional wholesalers/market sellers) region of Da Nang, was achieved through survey farmers (n = 100) sellers 100), which researchers further supplemented by microbiological analysis E. coli, Salmonella spp., Listeria monocytogenes leafy greens, water contact with surfaces (hands). The results indicated that 86.0 % 54.0 received training last 3 years; women dominated vegetable cultivation but also trading. Farm-level deficiencies included inadequate handwashing practices, lack documentation manure application schedules, improper washing drying harvest tools, failure to keep containers elevated off ground, storage vegetables, covering containers, respectively 34.0 %, 30.3 12.1 41.7 7.9 executing practice prescribed WHO/FAO '5 keys growing safer fruits vegetables'. As sellers, most dominant (<50.0 compliance) were way keeping ground before, during, after harvesting. confirmed that, total 36 samples including mustard cucumber, lettuce, crown daisy, number positive L. 12, 2, 10 respectively. Samples hands irrigation showed high contamination coli. Based gaps, risk communication tools developed distributed amongst farmers, Nang authority (governmental organisation performing inspections markets). intervention, two trained safe vegetables (managerial intervention) instructed use tap instead uncontrolled surface (technological intervention). A post-assessment conducted, redoing analysis. outcome these interventions terms resulting improved hygiene levels produce. findings from this research have potential provide model development science-based strategy alternative chains or geographic areas emerging countries.
