Assumptions regarding digital technologies in business schools have become part of the hidden curriculum. It is generally assumed that students same levels access and prior exposure to as well information literacies (IDL) skills. Little attention has been given issues social-digital inequalities impact this curriculum on from disadvantaged backgrounds. In study, using a phenomenographic approach, we examine how rural, socio-economically backgrounds Pakistan, experienced context full-time, in-person MBA program. The findings reveal initially had an alienating experience which for most transitions either engaged or instrumental experience. While exercised agency transitioning alienation was result their own effort, time labor. We conclude without additional support offered backgrounds, associated with potentially perpetuates, maintains socio-digital within management education.
