Abstract In the rapidly evolving educational landscape, this study investigates effectiveness of hybrid teaching methods in enhancing oral communication skills Indonesian higher education, marking a critical exploration at intersection digital and traditional pedagogies. Anchored qualitative research methodology, it seeks to unpack complex experiences lecturers using enhance university students’ skills. Data were meticulously gathered through Google Forms survey consisting 12 open-ended questions. The survey, conducted from March August 2023, targeted diverse geographical regions Indonesia, ensuring wide range experiences. Results reveal that are motivated by need adapt pandemic restrictions, expand accessibility, integrate technology into teaching. They employ variety methods, including live online lectures, in-person workshops, flipped classrooms, project-based learning. These strategies supported various technological tools such as Zoom, Classroom, Slack, Padlet, Mentimeter. This study investigates the relationship between access time to digital technologies and devel-opment of competences among Chilean university students, using DIGCOMP-PED in-strument based on DIGCOMP framework.
