The
COVID-19
crisis
has
revealed
structural
failures
in
governance
and
coordination
on
a
global
scale.

Misinformation

COVID-19

gradually
gaining

popularity

Purpose
This
study
developed
a
predictive
model
that
established
the
user
motivational
factors
predict
COVID-19
fake
news
sharing
on
social
media.
Design/methodology/approach
The
partial
least
squares
structural
equation
modelling
(PLS-SEM)
was
used
for
analysis.
Data
were
drawn
from
152
Facebook
and
WhatsApp
users
in
Nigeria
to
examine
research

using

theory
(UGT).
Findings

found
altruism,

sharing,
socialisation
self-promotion
predicted

among
media
Nigeria.
Specifically,
altruism

predictor

by
socialisation.

entertainment
had
no
association
with
COVID-19.
Practical
implications
suggest
intervention
strategies
which
nudge
people
be
sceptical
of
information
they
come
across
also
recommend
healthcare
providers
Nigerian

through
various

Abstract
Aim
This
study
aims
to
explore
the
lived
experiences
of
frontline
nurses
providing
nursing
care
for
COVID‐19
patients
in
Qatar.
Design
Qualitative,
Phenomenological.

Nurses

from

coronavirus
2019
pandemic

brought
