The impact of oxidative stress in the pathogenesis various diseases is well known. Oxidative occurs when there an imbalance between production reactive oxygen species (ROS) and ability a biological system to detoxify these intermediates or repair resulting damage. Polyphenols, diverse group compounds with antioxidant properties, help reduce damage by ROS. They are abundant fruits, vegetables, tea, coffee, wine, other plant-based foods. mechanisms their activity related regulate cellular signaling pathways, metal chelation, mitochondrial protection, while modulating enzyme exhibiting anti-inflammatory effects. Polyphenols can also through ROS scavenging, direct neutralization, enhancing defenses within cells. It has been established that polyphenols derived from plant do not harm metabolism normal cells, but involved metabolic pathways diseased which high redox sensitivity. Incorporating polyphenol-rich foods into diet beneficial for maintaining overall health reducing risk stress-related diseases. Researchers exploring therapeutic potential as dietary supplements functional medical applications. This review discusses origin, structure, benefits, application medicine food industry. Background: Clostridium butyricum is a butyrate-producing beneficial bacterium and generally recognized as significant indicator of appropriate gut microbial metabolism in human health. Objective: The synergistic effects commercially available prebiotic partially hydrolyzed guar gum (PHGG) dietary fiber carbon source on bacterial strain were evaluated during in-vitro fermentation with basal medium. Additionally, their activities compared to those other fibers. Methods: examined functional substrates (PHGG, LMW-PHGG, indigestible dextrin, inulin) demonstrated selective pH variation medium, leading enhanced growth butyrate production strains fermentation. Results: Prebiotic PHGG supplementation had the highest fermentability among fibers, resulting greater (OD660: 1.93 ± 0.01) generation (4.52 2.09 mM) after cultivation A difference promoting (p < 0.05), reduction 0.05) dextrin inulin was observed. Mannose strongest butyrogenic effect improved butyricum, studied monosaccharides (galactose, glucose, starch). order synthesis mannose > galactose glucose starch. relatively lower molecular weight (LMW-PHGG) exhibited similar trend observed when cultivated using PHGG-supplemented artificial intestinal fluid containing MRS-agar Conclusion: These findings suggest that symbiotic combination probiotic could have major industrial applications therapeutic adjuvant for gastrointestinal Keywords: Partially gum, synbiotic, prebiotic, probiotic,

The ongoing era of adopted lifestyle among humans involves shortcuts in every aspect, and a similar trend can be observed food processing preservation, especially dairy preparation. Thus, lots non-thermal processes including high-pressure (HPP), ultrasound (US) treatment, pulsed electric fields (PEF), ultraviolet (UV) light oscillating magnetic (OMF), etc. have been invented. By inactivating bacteria, these keep food's sensory nutritional quality while also preventing thermal degradation components near ambient temperatures. Non-thermal techniques effectively preserve nutraceuticals functional potential, simultaneously ensuring microbiological safety maintaining the integrity its bioactive components. During processing, several heat-labile milk products may lost In contrast, are gentler compared to treatments, making them preferred choices that avoid compromising value. It has technology increase efficiency microstructure through constituent interactions, alteration enzyme activity, development hypoallergenic products. However, order use technologies profitably, risk operation, equipment cost, technological compatibility, goal product must thoroughly assessed prior using processes. combined with other strategies like addition bio-preservatives or modified atmospheric packaging etc., enhance antimicrobial effects. Functional food products (FFPs) and their constituents, known as bioactive compounds (FBCs), possess distinctive properties that may mitigate the risk of specific diseases, offering a potential alternative to conventional medicine. Fruits vegetables contain components such vitamins, minerals, flavonoids, anthocyanins, others, which play role in managing symptoms chronic diseases. This review explores impact functional on economy. The rising costs associated with Western medical treatments for exacerbated by side effects medication, stresses importance exploring non-medical alternatives. Furthermore, absence definitive definition U.S. Food Drug Administration (FDA) adds weakness sector United States. On other hand, Japan has initiated regulatory system Specified Health Uses (FOSHU), introduces foods market educates consumers health benefits. Subsequently, they have also introduced new called Foods Claims. Despite limitations insufficiency post-market research, clinical studies, epidemiological studies both systems, continues outperform industry.
