Recent studies have emphasized that silence is a fundamental element in meditative practices for stress relief, well-being, and stimulating faith the future. This study describes educational experience of implementing Practice Silence Device prison setting during second wave Covid-19 pandemic (May–July, 2021). Interviews with 23 adult male imprisoned individuals (average age = 48.79; 65% Italians) were analyzed through qualitative-phenomenological method. The results revealed this technique’s positive impact on rehabilitating across 3 dimensions: coping, emotion management, ability to plan Future should investigate specific silence-based techniques support individuals’ rehabilitation.

Since February 2022, 7.8 million people have left Ukraine. In total, 80% are women and children. The present quali-quantitative study is the first in Italy to (i) describe adaptation challenges resources of refugee parents and, indirectly, their children (ii) investigate impact neuropsychopedagogical training on wellbeing. sample includes N = 15 Ukrainian (80% mothers, mean age 34 years) who arrived March April 2022. participated within program Envisioning Future (EF): 10 Keys Resilience. Before training, participants completed an ad hoc checklist detect adjustment difficulties. After they responded a three-item post-training questionnaire course semi-structured interview deepening problems, personal resources, effects. Participants report that since departed from Ukraine, experienced sleep, mood, concentration specific fears, which also observed They self-efficacy, self-esteem, social support, spirituality, common humanity as principal resources. As effects increased sense security, quality more frequent positive thoughts. interviews reveal 3-fold effect (e.g., behavioral, emotional-relational, cognitive-narrative).

The literature shows that teachers’ psychological characteristics can influence adolescents’ mental health. Additionally, neuropsychopedagogical interventions, like the Envisioning Future (EF) training, positively impact wellbeing. study aims at: (i) exploring relationships between and students’ (ii) investigating of EF on sample consists N = 113 Italian adolescents, whose data were matched with their (N 12). Participants completed validated self-report questionnaires self-compassion, emotion regulation, resilience, an ad-hoc scale frequency bullying episodes. Correlational analyses highlight that: avoidance, social isolation, self-judgment negatively correlate which students perceive episodes; self-kindness, optimism, self-efficacy in regulating emotions bullying; cognitive focus correlates self-determination toward future decisions; resilience managing positive emotions, while it avoidance. The study aimed to explore the lived experiences of incarcerated elders. Qualitative research design, specifically hermeneutic phenomenology was utilized in obtaining its objectives. found that elderly persons deprived liberty were unsatisfied and had a low quality life, which included unmet psychological physiological needs. It also indicated poor prison management facility is cause life. Lastly, despite deprivation freedom, elders still able acquire positive insights into their inside pre-detention may help them as they are reintroduced society.
