Purpose: To evaluate the associations between composite dietary antioxidant index (CDAI) and common non-communicable diseases (NCDs) explore potential effects of inflammatory indices in these associations. Methods: We included 20,097 adults from National Health Nutrition Examination Survey 2003-2018. Multivariable logistic regressions were applied to CDAI NCDs. Mediation analysis was used role Results: Higher associated with a downward trend incidence obesity, cardiovascular disease (CVD), chronic respiratory diseases, kidney (CKD) (p for < 0.05). The association CVD influenced by C-reactive protein (CRP), red blood cell width (RDW), neutrophil lymphocyte ratio (NLR), mediated proportions 3.490%, 5.173%, 2.351%, respectively. NLR partially contributed link CKD, mediating 2.746%. Additionally, we observed additive interactions CRP (RERI (95% CI): 0.282 (0.070, 0.494), AP 0.539 (0.088, 0.991), as well RDW on 0.318 (0.124, 0.511), 0.717 (0.217, 1.218)). There also appeared be weak multiplicative interaction (p-int = 0.049). Conclusion: Our investigation ascertained that related Moreover, played an important

Dyslipidemia is a major risk factor for cardiovascular disease (CVD) and atherosclerotic CVD (ASCVD). The composite dietary antioxidant index (CDAI), an emerging measure of combined exposure, may provide insights into the relationship between diet CVD/ASCVD outcomes. We aimed to explore association CDAI prevalence CVD/ASCVD, as well mortality in individuals with dyslipidemia. was assessed by integrating vitamins A, C, E, zinc, selenium, carotenoids. diagnosed according widely established criteria. Data on were obtained through self-reports, while prospective matching participant records National Death Index database. Multivariate logistic regression analysis Cox proportional hazards used these associations calculate odds ratios [OR], hazard [HR], 95% confidence intervals [CI], respectively. A total 23,126 participants dyslipidemia from NHANES 2001-2018 included. After adjusting potential confounders, inversely associated both ASCVD populations (OR CI 0.979 (0.964, 0.995) 0.977 (0.961, 0.993), respectively). Similar observed specific types CVD. also (HR = 0.957, 0.939-0.976, p < 0.0001). Restricted cubic spline threshold effects analyses indicated that nonlinearly significant occurring only when CDAI≤0; however, > -2. Furthermore, age, sex, drinking found modify body mass influenced mortality. events dyslipidemic populations. These findings highlight patterns alleviate burden underscore importance personalized strategies.

Triglyceride glucose (TyG) index and atherogenic of plasma (AIP) are indicators insulin resistance. However, inadequate evidence indicates that the TyG index, AIP, chronic pain linked. Data from National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) between 1999 2004 were used. Directed acyclic graphs used to identify 11 potential confounders. The AIP treated as continuous variables in multivariate logistic regression models assess their association with pain. Furthermore, nonlinear relationships these indices outcomes investigated using restricted cubic spline plots. Subsequently, subgroup analyses conducted for sensitive populations. Receiver operating characteristic curves compare outcomes. Ultimately, two sensitivity performed. This study identified associations 16,996,513 Americans. odds ratio 95% confidence interval (per 1 standard deviation increase) was 1.17 (1.02, 1.33), 1.19 (1.07, 1.34). According analyses, exposure outcome more pronounced non-diabetic population. performed similarly assessing ROC curves. Additionally, results matched conclusions main study. Nonlinear correlations among adults United States. demonstrated displayed similar effectiveness predicting risk
