This study focused on the investigation of toxic and trace metal levels in fish caught from Black Sea, which is facing pollution threats various human activities. It also aimed to assess potential health risks associated with consuming contribute development strategies for sustainable fisheries management. Metal presence was observed muscle tissues four commercially consumed species (anchovy, whiting, horse mackerel red mullet) nine different stations Sea. The results showed that concentrations analysed did not pose significant non-carcinogenic consumers. findings this are thought help stakeholders develop environmental protection management region.

Metal presence was observed muscle tissues four commercially consumed species (anchovy, whiting, horse mackerel red mullet) nine different stations Sea. Among metals, highest average concentration aluminium (Al) anchovy lowest cadmium (Cd) whiting. However, were generally below maximum allowable limits recommended by FAO, WHO, EC, Turkish Food Codex. The results showed that concentrations analyzed did not pose significant non-carcinogenic consumers. Although research findings show some studied Sea exhibit high levels, elements are within acceptable thresholds safe consumption. this thought help stakeholders develop environmental protection management region.

In Brazil, the exploration of oil and natural gas primarily takes place in offshore environments, with over 150 production units operating since 1960s. Despite preventive policies against accidents environmental impacts, contamination risks persist due to transportation, pipeline ruptures, maritime accidents, industrial treatment. Even many structures being decommissioned, they still pose a high potential for impact. Monitoring these from their installation closure is crucial prevent major disasters. this context, sedimentary geochemistry, using biomarkers analyze organic composition sediments, becomes an effective tool assess deposition compounds related exploration. When combined traditional techniques, approach essential evaluate sediment quality impacts.
