Flaxseed, a rich source of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid alpha-linolenic (ALA), lignans, and soluble fiber, has attracted attention for its potential to improve multiple cardiometabolic risk factors. While benefits are well-recognized, comprehensive evaluations direct impact on clinical outcomes, such as the prevention or progression diseases, remain limited. Additionally, support healthy aging longevity through fundamental biological mechanisms not been fully elucidated. This review synthesizes existing research flaxseed supplementation, highlighting effects factors underlying mechanisms, broader implications health promotion aging. Findings demonstrate that supplementation significantly improves several factors, including body weight, mass index, lipid levels, blood pressure, glycemic measures, markers inflammation (e.g., C-reactive protein interleukin-6), oxidative stress, liver enzymes. Blood pressure reductions range from approximately 2 15 mmHg systolic 1 7 diastolic with magnitude influenced by dose, duration, baseline profiles. evidence linking hypertension, metabolic syndrome, dysfunction-associated steatotic disease, type diabetes, chronic kidney cardiovascular disease is limited, bioactive components-ALA, fiber-are strongly associated reduced risks these conditions. The mediated pathways, anti-inflammatory antioxidant effects, improved glucose metabolism insulin sensitivity, modulation gut microbiota, enhanced vascular health. Beyond may influence key processes relevant aging, underscoring promote longevity. Optimal appear be achieved ground whole at doses ≥ 30 g/day least 12 weeks, particularly among individuals high risk. Future should focus elucidating flaxseed's action, clarifying role in prevention, refining dietary recommendations harness interventions.

NAD+-dependent deacetylase sirtuin-1 (Sirt1) belongs to the sirtuins family, known be longevity regulators, and exerts a key role in prevention of vascular aging. By aging, expression levels Sirt1 decline with severe impact on function, such as rise endothelial dysfunction, which turn promotes development cardiovascular diseases. In this context, activity preventing senescence is particularly important. Age-related diseases have emerged as a global concern the population ages. Consequently, understanding underlying causes of aging and exploring potential anti-aging interventions is imperative. In females, ovaries serve principal organs responsible for ovulation production female hormones. The are related to infertility, menopause, associated menopausal syndromes, with menopause representing culmination ovarian aging. Current evidence indicates that may contribute dysfunction across multiple organ systems, including, but not limited to, cognitive impairment, osteoporosis, cardiovascular disease. Nevertheless, due widespread distribution sex hormone receptors throughout body, affects only these specific also influences broader spectrum age-related in women. Despite this, impact on overall has been largely neglected. This review provides thorough summary diseases, encompassing nervous, circulatory, locomotor, urinary, digestive, respiratory, endocrine systems. Additionally, we outlined prospective therapeutic approaches addressing both aim mitigating their impacts preserving women's fertility, physical health, psychological well-being.

The nucleus is a highly specialized organelle that houses the cell's genetic material and regulates key cellular activities, including growth, metabolism, protein synthesis, cell division. Its structure function are tightly regulated by multiple mechanisms to ensure integrity genomic stability. Increasing evidence suggests nucleophagy, selective form of autophagy targets nuclear components, plays critical role in preserving clearing dysfunctional materials such as proteins (lamins, SIRT1, histones), DNA-protein crosslinks, micronuclei, chromatin fragments. Impaired nucleophagy has been implicated aging various pathological conditions, cancer, neurodegeneration, autoimmune disorders, neurological injury. In this review, we focus on mammalian cells, discussing its mechanisms, regulation, cargo selection, well evaluating therapeutic potential promoting human health mitigating disease.

ABSTRACT Objective Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) is a common heterogeneous sleep disorder that significantly impacts the quality of individuals and leads to severe complications. Patients with OSA often experience disrupted circadian rhythm, hyperactive hypoxia response, endothelial dysfunction, yet underlying molecular mechanism remains poorly known. Recent research suggests promising evidence potential role SIRT1 in etiology OSA, warranting further investigation. Methods We investigated associations promoter variant (rs7895833A > G) severity 199 who underwent an overnight polysomnography at clinic. Results The minor allele frequency was observed as 0.309 males ( n = 149) 0.310 females 50). No significant were between genotypes apnea‐hypopnea index (AHI) entire sample. However, we association p 0.034) rs7895833‐G stratified by AHI. Additionally, found statistically inverse correlations age protein levels total sample 0.013) male group 0.018), suggesting age‐related expression SIRT1. Our analysis also confirmed published literature, showing AHI clinical parameters such age, BMI, Epworth sleepiness scale, neck circumference. Conclusions Overall, may indirectly affect pathogenesis, which might be influenced gender. Further detailed involving large population‐based biobanks, especially focusing on gender‐based differences, will improve our understanding management.

Present fruits, vegetables, grains, seed oils, these considered safe for consumption due to the co‐evolution adaptation between mammals plants. Due their wide‐ranging biological effects, they have attracted considerable research interest. This comprehensive review explores mechanisms of action, benefits, applications dietary phytochemicals, with particular focus on groups such as polyphenols, flavonoids, carotenoids. Research shows phytochemicals interact nuclear membrane receptors, influence metabolic pathways, affect epigenetic modifications. Our highlights broad range activities compounds, including antioxidant, antibacterial, anti‐inflammatory, anti‐diabetic, anticancer all which contribute health‐promoting properties. Clinical evidence supports prevention management diseases cardiovascular disorders, conditions, cancer, diets rich being linked lower risk disease. also at cutting edge food preservation, supplements, emerging medical treatments. Additionally, we identified advancements extraction identification techniques, particularly metabolomics, further enhance areas. Despite promising challenges bioavailability, regulatory barriers, need robust clinical trials persist. However, innovative delivery systems like nanoparticles, liposomes, encapsulation offer potential solutions bioavailability by improving absorption stability. The concludes emphasizing personalized nutrition combination therapies benefits while stressing methods, trials, bioavailability.
