Abstract Background Erectile dysfunction (ED) is associated with inflammation. The systematic immune‐inflammation index (SII), as a new inflammation marker, was applied to predict the risk of diseases. However, no research explores relationship between SII and ED. Hence, purpose this study investigate association Methods Related data were obtained from National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) 2001−2004. Based on self‐report, all participants classified into ED non‐ED group. Weighted multivariate regression analysis categorical in unadjusted adjusted models. Restricted cubic spline (RCS) used examine continuous risk. Furthermore, evaluated among subgroups age, body mass index, hypertension, diabetes cardiovascular disease. Finally, weighted RCS performed assessed connection severe Results Initially, 21,161 obtained. After implementing inclusion exclusion criteria, 3436 included analyses. demonstrated that Q4 group an increased (OR = 1.03, 95% confidence intervals: 1.00−1.05, p .03). showed nonlinearly ED, inflection point at 485.530. In addition, subgroup analyses > 485.530 had higher than ≤ age ≥50, non‐diabetes. found Conclusion US adults, correlated While, significant Additional studies are required support our results.

Abstract Background Metabolic syndrome (MetS), a worldwide public health problem, affects human and quality of life in dramatic manner. A growing evidence base suggests that MetS is strongly associated with levels systemic immune inflammation. The present study aimed to investigate the possible relationship between immune-inflammation index (SII), novel inflammatory marker, provide data support for effective prevention by reducing response. Methods We included adult participants complete SII information from 2011–2016 National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES). was defined as using criteria developed Adult Treatment Program III Cholesterol Education Program. formula follows: = platelet counts × neutrophil counts/ lymphocyte counts. Background The systemic immunity-inflammation index(SII) is a new indicator of composite inflammatory response. Inflammatory response an important pathological process in stroke. Therefore, this study sought to investigate the association between SII and Methods We collected data on participants with stroke from 2015–2020 cycle National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) for cross-sectional investigation. Multivariate linear regression models were used test Fitted smoothing curves threshold effect analysis applied describe nonlinear relationship. Results A total 13,287 included our study, including 611 (4.598%) In multivariate analysis, we found significant positive stroke, odds ratio (OR) [95% CI] associating prevalence was [1.02 (1.01, 1.04)] (P < 0.01). subgroup interaction experiments, that relationship not significantly correlated among different population settings such as age, gender, race, education level, smoking status, high blood pressure, diabetes coronary heart disease trend > 0.05). Moreover, inflection point 740 (1,000 cells /µl) by using two-segment model. Conclusions This implies increased levels are linked To confirm findings, more large-scale prospective investigations needed.

Dyslipidemia is a major risk factor for cardiovascular disease (CVD) and atherosclerotic CVD (ASCVD). The composite dietary antioxidant index (CDAI), an emerging measure of combined exposure, may provide insights into the relationship between diet CVD/ASCVD outcomes. We aimed to explore association CDAI prevalence CVD/ASCVD, as well mortality in individuals with dyslipidemia. was assessed by integrating vitamins A, C, E, zinc, selenium, carotenoids. diagnosed according widely established criteria. Data on were obtained through self-reports, while prospective matching participant records National Death Index database. Multivariate logistic regression analysis Cox proportional hazards used these associations calculate odds ratios [OR], hazard [HR], 95% confidence intervals [CI], respectively. A total 23,126 participants dyslipidemia from NHANES 2001-2018 included. After adjusting potential confounders, inversely associated both ASCVD populations (OR CI 0.979 (0.964, 0.995) 0.977 (0.961, 0.993), respectively). Similar observed specific types CVD. also (HR = 0.957, 0.939-0.976, p < 0.0001). Restricted cubic spline threshold effects analyses indicated that nonlinearly significant occurring only when CDAI≤0; however, > -2. Furthermore, age, sex, drinking found modify body mass influenced mortality. events dyslipidemic populations. The relationship between the systemic immune-inflammatory index (SII) and mortality of adults with depression is uncertain. This study included who were surveyed in National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) from 2005 to 2018. Cox proportional hazards regression models compute hazard ratios (HR) 95% confidence intervals (CI) for mortality. The restricted cubic spline(RCS), Kaplan-Meier curve analysis, time-dependent ROC subgroup sensitivity analyses also used. A total 2442 final analysis(average age: 46.51 ± 0.44 years). During a median follow-up 89 months, there 302 all-cause deaths 74 cardiovascular deaths. fully adjusted model showed that an increment 100 unit SII corresponded increased HR 1.05(95% CI,1.02,1.08, p = 0.003) 1.06(95% CI,1.02,1.10, 0.004) mortality, respectively. RCS analysis indicated J-shape positive linear association exhibited excellent efficacy predicting at 1, 3, 5 10 years. Higher levels associated risk depression. Not applicable.

There is limited research on the relationship between Systemic Oxidative Stress (SOS) status and inflammatory indices. Adding onto existing literature, this study aimed to examine association dietary Balance Score (OBS) lifestyle OBS (which make up overall OBS), Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) prevalence at different Immune Inflammation Index (SII) Inflammatory Response (SIRI) levels. This involved 9,451 subjects selected from National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) 2007-2018. The comprised 20 factors. Statistical methods included Weighted Linear Regression Analysis (WLRA), Logistic (LRA), Sensitivity (SA), Restricted Cubic Spline (RCS) analysis. multivariate WLRA revealed that was significantly negatively correlated with both SII (β = -5.36, p < 0.001) SIRI -0.013, In SA, removing any single component had no significant effect results of SIRI. Further subgroup analyses more impactful in lowering women than men. Additionally, low-age group high-age group. Moreover, RCS analysis confirmed linear relationship. Compared OBS, exerted a Coronary Artery (CAD) (OR: 0.794, 0.002), hypertension 0.738, 0.001), Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) 0.736, 0.005), Myocardial Infarction (MI) 0.785, stroke 0.807, 0.029) prevalence.
