Most chronic modern non-transmissible diseases seem to begin as the result of low-grade inflammation extending over prolonged periods time. The importance diet a source many pro-inflammatory compounds that could create and sustain such inflammatory state cannot be ignored, particularly since we are constantly exposed them during day. focus this review is on specific components associated with inflammation, specifically advanced glycation end products (AGEs) form thermal processing food. AGEs also generated in body normal physiology widely recognized increased diabetes, but people unaware potential exogenous ingested We experimental models, epidemiologic data, small clinical trials suggest an important association between dietary intake these development pro-oxidative conducive diseases. compare other known patterns, Mediterranean Dietary Approaches Stop Hypertension (DASH) diets, well Inflammation Index (DII). Finally, delineate detail pathophysiological mechanisms induced by AGEs, both direct (i.e., non-receptor-mediated) indirect (receptor-mediated).

In addition, there have now been 30,000 peer-reviewed articles published relationship between diet, inflammation, outcomes. Based this voluminous literature, it is recognized that low-grade, chronic systemic associated with most non-communicable diseases (NCDs), including diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular disease, cancers, respiratory musculoskeletal disorders, as well impaired neurodevelopment adverse mental Dietary components modulate inflammatory status. recent years, Inflammatory Index (DII®), a literature-derived dietary index, was developed to characterize potential habitual diet. Subsequently, large rapidly growing body research investigating associations potential, determined by DII, risk wide range NCDs has emerged. narrative review, we examine current state science regarding relationships DII cancer, cardiometabolic, diseases, neurodevelopment, We synthesize findings from studies, discuss underlying mechanisms, look future novel applications adult children's (C-DII) scores new avenues investigation field nutritional research.

Abstract Inflammation-associated diseases encompass a range of infectious and non-infectious inflammatory diseases, which continuously pose one the most serious threats to human health, attributed factors such as emergence new pathogens, increasing drug resistance, changes in living environments lifestyles, aging population. Despite rapid advancements mechanistic research development for these current treatments often have limited efficacy notable side effects, necessitating more effective targeted anti-inflammatory therapies. In recent years, nanotechnology has provided crucial technological support prevention, treatment, detection inflammation-associated diseases. Various types nanoparticles (NPs) play significant roles, serving vaccine vehicles enhance immunogenicity carriers improve targeting bioavailability. NPs can also directly combat pathogens inflammation. addition, facilitated biosensors pathogen imaging techniques This review categorizes characterizes different NPs, summarizes their applications It discusses challenges associated with clinical translation this field explores latest developments prospects. conclusion, opens up possibilities comprehensive management

Cyclooxygenase (COX) and Lipoxygenase (LOX) are essential enzymes for arachidonic acid (AA) to eicosanoids conversion. These AA-derived initiating immunological responses, causing inflammation, resolving inflammation. Dual COX/5-LOX inhibitors believed be promising novel anti-inflammatory agents. They inhibit the synthesis of prostaglandins (PGs) leukotrienes (LTs), but have no effect on lipoxin formation. This mechanism combined inhibition circumvents certain limitations selective COX-2 spares gastrointestinal mucosa. Natural products, i.e. spice chemicals herbs, offer an excellent opportunity drug discovery. proven properties. However, potential a molecule lead/ candidate can much more enhanced if it has property in dual mechanism. Synergistic activity is always better option than molecule's normal biological activity. Herein, we explored three major potent phytoconsituents (curcumin, capsaicin, gingerol) from Indian spices using silico tools biophysical techniques quest identify their probable inhibitory role as Results revealed curcumin. Gingerol capsaicin also favorable results inhibitors. Our substantiated by target similarity studies, molecular docking, dynamics, energy calculations, DFT, QSAR studies. In experimental (in vitro) curcumin exhibited best activities against COX-1/2 5-LOX enzymes. Capsaicin gingerol showed both COX LOX view these chemicals, this research could pave way scientific exploration area

Cannabis sativa , also known as “hemp” or “weed,” is a versatile plant with various uses in medicine, agriculture, food, and cosmetics. This review attempts to evaluate the available literature on ecology, chemical composition, phytochemistry, pharmacology, traditional uses, industrial toxicology of . So far, 566 compounds have been isolated from including 125 cannabinoids 198 non-cannabinoids. The psychoactive physiologically active part cannabinoid, mostly found flowers, but present smaller amounts leaves, stems, seeds. Of all phytochemicals, terpenes form largest composition plant. Pharmacological evidence reveals that plants contain which exhibit potential antioxidants, antibacterial agents, anticancer anti-inflammatory agents. Furthermore, reported applications food cosmetic industries. Significantly, cultivation has minimal negative impact environment terms cultivation. Most studies focused make-up, pharmacological effects, not much about toxic effects. Overall, enormous for biological well other medicinal uses. However, further research necessary fully understand explore beneficial properties

Oxidative stress (OS) and inflammation are two important well-studied pathological hallmarks of neurodegenerative diseases (NDDs). Due to elevated oxygen consumption, the high presence easily oxidizable polyunsaturated fatty acids weak antioxidant defenses, brain is particularly vulnerable oxidative injury. Uncertainty exists over whether these deficits contribute development NDDs or solely a consequence neuronal degeneration. Furthermore, linked, it known that OS can affect inflammatory response. In this review, we will overview last findings about pathways in principal NDDs. Moreover, focus more depth on amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) understand how anti-inflammatory antioxidants drugs have been used for treatment still incurable motor neuron (MN) disease. Finally, analyze past actual clinical trials future perspectives study mechanisms.

Advances in biomedical research have demonstrated inflammation and its related diseases, the greatest threat to public health. Inflammatory action is pathological response of body toward external stimuli such as infections, environmental factors, autoimmune conditions reduce tissue damage improve patient comfort. However, when detrimental signal-transduction pathways are activated inflammatory mediators released over an extended period time, process continues a mild but persistent pro-inflammatory state may develop. Numerous degenerative disorders chronic health issues including arthritis, diabetes, obesity, cancer, cardiovascular among others, associated with emergence low-grade state. Though, anti-inflammatory steroidal, well non-steroidal drugs, extensively used against different conditions, they show undesirable side effects upon long-term exposure, at times, leading life-threatening consequences. Thus, drugs targeting need be developed achieve better therapeutic management without or fewer effect. Plants been known for their medicinal use thousands years due pharmacologically active phytochemicals belonging diverse chemical classes number these demonstrating potent activity. Some typical examples include colchicine (alkaloid), escin (triterpenoid saponin), capsaicin (methoxy phenol), bicyclol (lignan), borneol (monoterpene), quercetin (flavonoid). These often act via regulating molecular mechanisms that synergize increased production cytokines interfere other modulators underlying condition. This review describes properties biologically compounds derived from plants, pharmacological intervention alleviate inflammation-associated diseases. The emphasis given information on evaluated preclinical clinical levels. Recent trends gaps development phytochemical-based also included.
