Abstract
Itaconate
(IA)
is
an
endogenous
metabolite
and
a
potent
regulator
of
the
innate
immune
system.
Its
use
in
immunomodulatory
therapies
has
faced
limitations
due
to
inherent
challenges
achieving
controlled
delivery
requirements
for
high
extracellular
concentrations
achieve
internalization
highly
polar
small
molecule
its
intracellular
therapeutic
activity.
Microparticle
(MP)-based
strategies
are
promising
approach

Abstract
With
depression
being

psychiatric
disorder

societal
costs
in
developed
countries,

need
to
gather
evidence

Summary
An
unhealthy
diet
is
a
recognized
risk
factor
in
the
pathophysiology
of
numerous
chronic
noncommunicable
diseases
(NCD),
including
obesity,
type
2
diabetes
(T2DM),
and
cardiovascular
(CVD).
This
is,
at

part,
due
to
diets
causing
low‐grade
inflammation

characterize
inflammatory

we
developed
Dietary
Inflammatory
Index
(DII®).
