Soil legacy phosphorus (P) accumulated due to the long-term continuous application of P fertilizers in agricultural fields soil for years, as sparingly soluble forms. This can be made a possible source using P-activators. In this study, laboratory incubation and pot experiment were conducted evaluate potential some activators (Phosphorus solubilizing bacteria, phytase, humic acid, oxalic acid) increasing availability residual calcareous soil. For experiment, applied alone combination. samples analyzed at subsequent intervals available P, alkaline phosphatase activity, sequential fractions. The results showed that phytase with acid (HA) increased (12.4 kg ha−1) activity (47.42 µg p-nitrophenol released g−1 hr−1) followed by Bacteria (PSB) PSB treatments. All treatments have significant effect on different P-fractions. A greater reduction calcium phosphate fraction was noted application. combined P-activators performed better than their sole best three selected from incubated used maize, along dosages fertilizer. morphological parameters observed 30th 60th days maize crop. plant height, chlorophyll index, dry matter production HA 100% recommended dose statistically comparable 75% P. findings illustrated extent release availability. 25% reduced will promote soils through solubilization.

Abstract Phosphorus (P) is one of the main nutrients for all plants, including grasses. However, sources P fertilizer are not renewable, evenly distributed and overfertilization can lead to serious environmental degradation. Smart combinations grasses may be able more efficiently take up from soils through complementarity. In a two-year field mesocosm experiment, we compared performance Lolium perenne L. Festuca arundinacea Schreb. in monocultures combination, as well mixture both species with tetraploid variety L Phleum pratense Plants were grown an unfertilized low soil fertilized two growing seasons. We measured biomass production, root traits, nutrient uptake, microbial enzymatic activities. plots combination generated highest cumulative yields (25,951 ± 4059 kg ha −1 ), relative total yield (> 1) nutrition index (0.79). related this complementarity found traits lower intraspecific competition diploid. produced higher than diploid at deeper layers (98 vs. 44 g m −2 ; p < 0.05). On other hand, had significantly finer roots topsoil bottom (0.19 0.22 mm 0.19 0.23 top respectively). The 4 did result yields. Our results show that, soils, grass contrasting could monocultures.

Abstract Soil samples from the rhizosphere region of different agricultural fields, cattle dung sheds, dump sites and dairy waste, etc. in north Gujarat area were used for screening phytase-producing bacteria. Out 104 microbial colonies, around 42 colonies showed phytase production on Petri plates, as indicated by zone hydrolysis colonies. Among them, 13 isolates with efficiency more than 100% screened quantitative enzyme submerged fermentation. Two isolates, designated which was further subjected to study effect physiological parameters including temperature, pH, incubation time, inoculum percent. The enzymes suggests that each isolate has its own unique set conditions higher production. Isolate DSS found have at 40°C 5% CDS 55°C 10% inoculum; both gave pH 6 72 h time under fermentation conditions. Based molecular identification identity score, identified Bacillus tequliensis spp. Keyword: Phytic acid Phytase Screening Physiological parameter Citation: Madhvi, Shah H. characterization producer region.
