Lyophyllum decastes is a mushroom that highly regarded for its culinary and medicinal properties. Its delectable taste texture make it popular choice consumption. To gain deeper understanding of the molecular mechanisms involved in development fruiting body L. decastes, we used RNA sequencing to conduct comparative transcriptome analysis. The analysis encompassed various developmental stages, including vegetative mycelium, primordial initiation, young body, medium-size mature stages. A range 40.1 60.6 million clean reads were obtained, de novo assembly generated 15,451 unigenes with an average length 1,462.68 bp. Lyophyllum plays an important role in the natural ecosystem and has significant economic value. Some species of this genus have been cultivated Asia, America, Europe. This study describes four edible Lyophyllum, two which were newly discovered. Lyophyllumedulis a dark grayish orange pileus, upper part stipe, globose, subglobose to broadly ellipsoid basidiospores, while L.sinense gray-orange when injured points lines on stipe surface, quadrangular fusiform basidiospores. Molecular phylogenetic analyses using internal transcribed spacer ITS1-5.8S-ITS2 ribosomal RNA (ITS), large subunit (LSU), second-largest polymerase II (rpb2), translation elongation factor 1-alpha (tef1-α) indicated that L.edulis is related L.shimeji, L.heimogu, L.decastes, affinity L.bulborhizum L.nigrum. Cyclocybe chaxingu is an edible wood-decaying fungus widely cultivated in China, valued for its nutritional and economic significance. Despite importance, molecular genetic breeding studies on C. have been limited by the lack of comprehensive genomic information. In this study, we performed whole-genome sequencing type strain JAUCC1847 first time conducted extensive transcriptomic analyses. We assembled a high-quality genome C27, with total length 50.79 Mb GC content 50.90%. Comparative analysis revealed close evolutionary relationship species from genera Agrocybe Stropharia, suggesting recent common ancestor. The high ANI values between chaxingu, cylindracea indicate phylogenetic relationship, raising possibility synonymy among these strains. Genome annotation identified rich array 573 carbohydrate-active enzymes, highlighting metabolic diversity particularly lignocellulose degradation. Comprehensive A B mating-type locus distribution structural characteristics genes, providing crucial information further reproductive biology species. Edible fungi has certain photo-sensitivity during the mushroom emergence stage, but there been few relevant studies on responses of Lyophyllum decastes to different light quality. Lepista sordida is a valuable edible mushroom rich in natural bioactive compounds. Wild edible mushrooms are an important food source globally and have a crucial role in forest ecosystems. However, there is limited research on the growth characteristics contribution of agronomic traits to biomass, environmental factors affecting mushroom limited. Flammulina filiformis is one of the widely produced edible fungi worldwide. It rich in γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA), a non-protein amino with important physiological functions humans. To investigate key genes GABA metabolic pathway F. filiformis, we isolated monokaryon Fv-HL23-1 from factory-cultivated strain Fv-HL23 and then sequenced assembled genome using PacBio Sequel Illumina NovaSeq sequencing platforms. The results showed that comprised 140 scaffolds total length 40.96 Mb, GC content 49.62%, an N50 917,125 bp, 14,256 protein-coding genes. Phylogenetic analysis based on whole revealed close evolutionary relationship Armillaria mellea, Lentinula edodes, Schizophyllum commune.
