Social
and
emotional
experiences
differently
shape
individual’s
neurodevelopment
inducing
substantial
changes
in
neurobiological
substrates

when
they
occur
early
life.
In
this
scenario,
the
present
study
was
aimed
at
(i)
investigating
impact
of
social
environments
on
reactivity
adolescent
male
female
rats
(ii)
uncovering
underlying
molecular
features,
focusing
cortical
endocannabinoid
(eCB)
glucocorticoid
systems.
To
aim,
we
applied
a
protocol
environmental
manipulation
based
postnatal
socially
enriched
or
impoverished
conditions.

experienced
early
in
life.
Early-life
stress
(ELS)
encompasses
adverse
childhood
experiences
such
as
abuse,
neglect,
violence,
or
chronic
poverty.
These
stressors
can
induce
long-lasting
changes
brain
structure
function,
impacting
areas
involved
emotion
regulation,
cognition,
response.
Consequently,
individuals
exposed
to
high
levels
of
ELS
are
at
an
increased
risk
for
health
disorders
like
depression,
anxiety,
post-traumatic
disorders,
well
issues,
including
metabolic
cardiovascular
disease,
cancer.
This
review
explores
the
biological
psychological
consequences
early-life
adversity
paradigms
rodents,
maternal
separation
deprivation

Abstract
Introduction
One‐time
life
events
such
as
neurological
injury
can
result
in
lifelong
lower
urinary
tract
symptoms
(LUTS).
However,
it
is
unclear
whether
an
apparently
transient
event
also
trigger
long‐term
LUTS.
This
review
examines
the
possibility
of
association
and
hypothesizes
pathogenesis.
Methods
A
pubmed
search
was
conducted
using
MeSH
words
“life
change
events,”
“child
abuse,”
or
“stress
disorders,
Posttraumatic”,

were
identified
by
a
hand
citation
search.
Results
Long‐term
LUTS
noted
following
temporally
remote
childhood
sexual
abuse,
adverse
experiences,
stressful
