Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a behaviorally defined neurodevelopmental characterized by deficits in language, communication, and social function with an estimated prevalence rate of between 1 30 44 U.S. births. Aim: To evaluate the ophthalmic and behavioral effects of a gluten-free casein-free diet (GCFD) in autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Method: The study was conducted from November 2020 to January 2023. We designed an 8-week clinical trial GCFD on corneal reflex, pupil size, body mass index (BMI), weight, Autistic Disorder Index, Communication, Social interaction, Stereotype Behavior. Results: A total thirty participants completed trial. reduced BMI [%95 CI -4.8895 -2.1305 (P &lt; 0.0001)], weight -8.5153 -0.0647 = 0.0467)], Index -28.0359 -16.2841 Communication -3.3325 -1.6675 Interaction -4.3190 -2.4010 Behavior -2.3939 -0.2461 =0.01)] significantly. also left -2.2421 -1.6779 &lt;0.0001)] right size -2.2999 -1.7201 Conversely, reflex significantly increased [95% 0.2159 2.1241 0.01)]. Background: Acorus tatarinowii and Ginseng (AT-G) are traditional Chinese herbal medicines extensively utilized in neurological disorders treatment.
