Abstract Breast cancer is a significant and deadly threat to women globally. Moreover, metastasis complicated process involving multiple biological stages, which considered substantial cause of death, where cells spread from the original tumor other organs in body—representing primary mortality factor. Circulating (CTCs) are detached or metastatic enter bloodstream, allowing them establish new sites. CTCs can travel alone groups called CTC clusters. Studies have shown that clusters more potential for poorer prognosis than individual breast patients. However, our understanding clusters' formation, structure, function, detection still limited. This review summarizes current knowledge properties, isolation, prognostic significance cancer. It also highlights challenges future directions research clinical application

Abstract The gut microbiome, or the community of microorganisms residing in gastrointestinal tract, has emerged as an important factor breast cancer etiology and treatment. Specifically, impact bacterial populations on therapeutic outcomes is emerging area research. microbiota’s role modifying pharmacokinetics chemotherapy endocrine-targeting therapies can alter drug efficacy toxicity profiles. In addition, microbiome’s capacity to regulate systemic inflammation immune responses may influence effectiveness both conventional immunotherapeutic strategies for treatment cancer. Overall, while bidirectional interactions between microbiome are still being studied, its increasingly recognized. Future research provide more definitive insights help develop personalized harness improve outcomes.

In this first analysis, samples from 23 BC survivors (group 1) and 291 healthy female controls 2) were characterised through the V3 V4 regions that encode “16S rRNA” gene of each bacteria. The sequenced by next-generation sequencing (NGS), taxonomy was identified resorting to Kraken2 improved with Bracken, using a curated database called ‘GutHealth_DB’. α β-diversity analyses used determine richness evenness gut microbiota. A non-parametric Mann-Whitney U test applied assess differential abundance between both groups. Firmicutes/Bacteroidetes (F/B) ratio calculated Kruskal-Wallis chi-squared test. α-diversity significantly higher in group 1 (p = 0.28 × 10−12 for Chao index p 1.64 ACE index). Abstract Breast cancer (BC) is one of the most diagnosed cancers in women. Based on histological characteristics, they are classified as non-invasive, or situ (tumors located within milk ducts lobules) and invasive. BC may develop from carcinomas over time. Determining prognosis predicting response to treatment essential tools manage this disease reduce its incidence mortality, well promote personalized therapy for patients. However, half cases not associated with known risk factors. In addition, some patients resistance relapse. Therefore, it necessary identify new biomarkers strategies that improve existing therapies. regard, role microbiome being researched could play a carcinogenesis efficacy This review aims describe specific patterns BC. For this, literature search was carried out PubMed database using MeSH terms “Breast Neoplasms” “Gastrointestinal Microbiome”, including 29 publications. Most studies have focused characterizing gut breast tissue Likewise, animal models vitro investigated impact microbiota (GM) treatments effects tumor cells were included. results included articles, be an imbalance GM. varied depending molecular type, stage grade cancer, menopause, menarche, body mass index, physical activity. microbial profile identified biomarker. Evidence suggests that various gut metabolites significantly impact breast cancer (BC) and its treatment. However, the underlying mechanisms remain poorly understood require further investigation. In present study, current literature was reviewed to evaluate roles of microbial in development BC response Microbial metabolites, including secondary bile acids, short‑chain fatty amino acid lipopolysaccharide, nisin pyocyanin, serve crucial microenvironment. promote invasion, metastasis recurrence by facilitating cellular movement, epithelial‑mesenchymal transition, stem cell function diapedesis. Furthermore, certain such as trimethylamine N‑oxide L‑norvaline, can alter pharmacokinetics chemotherapeutic drugs. The review highlights possible involvement bacteriocins carcinogenesis, metastasis. These could provide new insights for treatment strategies are considered potential therapeutic targets.

Breast cancer is the most prevalent malignancy among women worldwide and a major contributor to cancer-related mortality. The tumor microenvironment (TME), composed of cells, immune infiltrates, fibroblasts, vascular components, critically involved in initiation, metastatic progression, therapeutic response. In recent years, therapies targeting TME have undergone rapid advancements, with objective enhancing antitumor immunity. Concurrently, mounting evidence underscores pivotal role gut microbiota its metabolites modulating host immunity, influencing metabolic homeostasis, inflammation, equilibrium. composition diversity microbiome influence breast progression patients’ responses immunotherapy.
