Novel anticancer drugs of natural origin have increased tremendously due to the resistance multiple chemotherapeutic in breast cancer therapy and their high toxicity with undesirable side effects. The study investigates bioactivity secondary metabolites derived from Bacillus cereus PSMS6 isolated marine soil sediment Velar estuary, Parangepattai, Cuddalore district, Tamil Nadu, India. Strains were antagonistic activity was screened using agar well diffusion method. B. exhibited potency, its crude extract tested for antioxidant, anticancer, cytotoxic MTT assay potential. methanolic analyzed by mass spectrometry HRLC-MS FT-IR determine bioactive compounds. A drug interaction anti-breast protein HER2 performed molecular docking analysis. Antioxidant activities determined total antioxidant scavenging assay, ABTS DPPH free radical assays. methanol had an IC50 value 28.33±1.01, 29.00±0.28 34.91±0.09. negative ion compound Palmitoylglycerone phosphate a LibDock score 149.487 positive N5-(4-Methoxybenzyl) glutamine 120.116. These compounds show promising activity. current reported that metabolite retains anti-cancer, properties. This is first report production PSMS6.

Breastfeeding has emerged as a critical factor in understanding and potentially mitigating the risk of breast cancer among women. This review delves into intricate relationship between breastfeeding cancer, elucidating biological mechanisms, protective effects, broader implications for public health. Epidemiological evidence consistently demonstrates correlation reduced with longer durations lactation showing dose-dependent decrease risk. The nexus involves hormonal changes elimination damaged cells, influencing tissue carcinogenesis. Moreover, appears to impact tumor subtypes aggressiveness, particularly demonstrating associations lower risks hormone receptor-negative certain aggressive subtypes. Recognizing significance reducing profound health implications, necessitating comprehensive support, education, policies encourage facilitate breastfeeding.

Background/Objective: The study aimed to evaluate disease acceptance and quality of life in women with breast cancer before after receiving neoadjuvant chemotherapy. Methods: included 211 diagnosed who underwent treatment. following measures were utilized: the EORTC QLQ-C30 QLQ-BR23 modules for assessment, Acceptance Illness Scale (AIS) questionnaire evaluating acceptance, a proprietary questionnaire. Assessments conducted one week first chemotherapy session three weeks completing Statistical analysis was performed using STATISTICA v. 13. Results: respondents exhibited an average their disease, both (28.2 pts) (25.5 pts). A decline observed nearly 59.2% patients Higher levels associated better life. studied decreased chemotherapy, particularly areas: physical functioning (p = 0.0000), social body image assessment sexual satisfaction nausea vomiting fatigue loss appetite insomnia pain hair side effects systemic treatment 0.0000). Conclusions: Post-neoadjuvant among comparison pre-treatment status. These findings may facilitate creation more tailored care approach during

Metformin, initially prescribed as an oral hypoglycemic medication for type 2 diabetes, has recently gained attention its potential anticancer effects. Its history dates to 1918, when guanidine, a component of the traditional European herb Galega officinalis, was found reduce glycemia. This review precisely examines mechanisms underlying Metformin's effects across various neoplastic conditions. investigation explores complex interactions between metformin and major signaling pathways associated with carcinogenesis, including AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK), mTOR, insulin-like growth factor (IGF) pathways. The emphasizes diverse on angiogenesis, inflammation, apoptosis, cellular metabolism in cancer cells. Additionally, new data metformin's capacity alter tumor microenvironment enhance immune surveillance systems against are examined. underscores repurposing oncology, emphasizing clinical relevance adjuvant therapy cancers. provides insightful information about by combining from preclinical studies. These findings not only broaden our knowledge but also open avenues oncology research treatment developments.
