Chronotype is morningness and eveningness preference of humans. The human biological clock primarily entrained by sunlight but can show the highly flexible phase-shifting capacity allows a person to adjust new time zones, shift work, temperature changes, seasonal job schedules, social obligations, other urgent activities. aim current study was identify chronotype interior rural residents who have limited access electricity. 2117 healthy subjects (aged between 6 75 years) willingly participated in study. All were provided with biographical information sheets. subjectively assessed using Horne Östberg questionnaire [1].Result revealed predominant studied population. Evening-types more exposed nighttime artificial light as well screen time. In addition, body surface area (BSA) evening-types also significantly higher than that chronotypes. Further sleeping waking hours delayed evening-type compared morning-type intermediate-type, irrespective work days free days. Present provides insights populations living under semi-modernized conditions. Absence at nights, time, less facility electricity could be reason for among eveningtypes BSA are seems susceptible disturbed sleep-wake pattern.

Abstract Rationale Patients with anorexia nervosa (AN) often present sleep disorders and circadian hormonal dysregulation. The role of the microbiota–gut–brain axis in regulation feeding behavior has emerged during last decades but its relationships rhythm remains poorly documented. Thus, we aimed to characterize clock genes expression peripheral central tissues activity-based mouse model (ABA), as well dynamics gut–microbiota composition. Methods From day 1 17, male female C57Bl/6 mice were submitted or not ABA protocol (ABA control (CT) groups), which combines a progressive limited access food free running wheel. At fasted CT euthanized after either resting (EoR) activity (EoA) phase ( n = 10–12 per group). Circadian was assessed by RT-qPCR on (liver, colon ileum) (hypothalamic suprachiasmatic nucleus SCN) tissues. Cecal bacterial taxa abundances evaluated qPCR. Data compared two-way ANOVA followed post-tests. Results exhibited lower intake, body weight loss an increase diurnal physical that differ according sex. Interestingly, SCN, only altered Bmal1, Per1, Per2, Cry1, Cry2 ). In intestinal tract, modification also more marked females males. For instance, ileum, showed alteration Bmal1 , Clock Per1 Per2 Cry1 Rev-erbα mRNA levels, while mRNAs affected By contrast, liver, markedly males response ABA. Finally, variations gut–bacteria observed both sex-dependent model. Conclusions This study shows at levels occurs addition, our data underline composition are sex-dependent.

focused on patients living with metastatic cancer. We examined the feasibility of SleepNow intervention combining cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) physical exercise in men prostate cancer (mPCa). Patients/material and methods: conducted a randomized trial under treatment castration resistant mPCa (Insomnia Severity Index [ISI] score ≥ 8). Patients were 1:1 to either or usual care. is manualized 12-week program consisting bi-weekly sessions four nurse-led CBT-I. care received no treatment. assessed measured objective patient-reported outcomes at baseline 3-months follow-up. Changes both groups compared using Wilcoxon test. Results: 12 (5 7 control; age range = 59–81 years, mean Gleason 7.75, time since diagnosis ≈ years). Intervention reported high satisfaction, all attended least three CBT-I (75%) completed 20 24 training sessions. The group showed improvements insomnia, sleep quality, fatigue, anxiety, depression health-related quality-of-life but between-group differences not statistically significant. Interpretation: first combine nurse-delivered was acceptable potentially efficacious. Our results are important targeting interventions growing population long term

[Purpose] Circadian clocks are evolved endogenous biological systems that communicate with environmental cues to optimize physiological processes, such as the sleep-wake cycle, which is nearly related quality of life. Sleep disorders can be treated using pharmacological strategies targeting melatonin, orexin, or core clock genes. Exercise has been widely explored a behavioral treatment because it challenges homeostasis in human body and affects regulation intervention at appropriate time day induce phase shift internal clocks. Although exercise strong external cue for resetting circadian clock, therapy sleep remains poorly understood.[Methods] This review focused on potential by tuning clock. We used scientific paper depositories, including Google Scholar, PubMed, Cochrane Library, identify previous studies investigated effects disorders.[Results] The exercise-induced adjustment depended timing individual chronotypes. Adjustment through scheduled morning exercises appropriately prescribed individuals delayed disorders. Individuals advanced synchronize their living environment performing evening exercises. Exercise-induced responses affected age, sex, current fitness conditions.[Conclusion] Personalized approaches necessary when implementing interventions

Background/Objectives: Sleep disturbances are prevalent among pediatric cancer survivors (PCSs) and their caregivers, often leading to poorer dietary choices reduced physical activity. Additionally, the sleep quality health behaviors of parents children can affect each other. This study examined bi-directional associations between PCSs parents’ health-related behaviors. Methods: 127 parent–child dyads enrolled in a behavioral intervention for (Mage = 11.04; 53.2% female) families completed Patient Quality Inventory (PSQI) USDA Parent or Child Food Activity Questionnaire (FAQ). Two actor–partner interdependence models, using multi-level modeling adjusting relevant confounds, estimated bidirectional dyad’s composite food activity quality. Results: After controlling partner BMI actor age, effect children’s PSQI scores on parent’s FAQ was statistically significant (β −0.23, p 0.036). Poorer associated with worse parents. Second, after race, shown—greater parental better PCS −0.20, 0.041). Conclusions: Better is linked improved children, while poor lower The findings highlight prospective value systems-focused clinical interventions manage promote positive PCS.

During sleep, several crucial processes for brain homeostasis occur, including the rearrangement of synaptic connections, which is essential memory formation and updating. Sleep also facilitates removal neurotoxic waste products, accumulation plays a key role in neurodegeneration. Various neural components environmental factors regulate influence physiological transition between wakefulness sleep. Disruptions this complex system form basis sleep disorders, as commonly observed synucleinopathies. Synucleinopathies are neurodegenerative disorders characterized by abnormal build-up α-synuclein protein aggregates brain. This different regions leads to spectrum clinical manifestations, hypokinesia, cognitive impairment, psychiatric symptoms, neurovegetative disturbances. highly prevalent individuals with synucleinopathies, they not only affect overall well-being patients but directly contribute disease severity progression. Therefore, it develop effective therapeutic strategies improve quality these patients. Adequate vital health, synucleinopathies disrupting patterns must be taken into account. In context, explore physical exercise potential non-pharmacological intervention manage The current evidence on efficacy programs enhance patient population discussed.

The prevalence of impaired mental health (MH) has increased in recent decades. aim the study was to analyze MH amongst registered Spanish golfers using GHQ-28 questionnaire. A cross-sectional online survey carried out Spain between March and August 2024 a self-administered questionnaire on 298 adult participants. participants were mainly men (75.1%) over 60 years age (50.7%) who married or with partner (79.5%), active job market (56%). Of participants, 73.5% reported an improvement levels attributed game, 77.2% recommended golf as way improve MH. 6.7% (95% confidence interval [CI]: 4.1–10.2%). Differences found according (<=45 years: 28.6%; 46–60 5.0% >60 4.0%; p = 0.001), marital status (married partner: 4.6% vs. other: 14.8%; 0.009) time play (morning: 3.3% 10.3%; 0.015). detected low these results indicated that such playing habits characteristics may have positive impact wellbeing players.
