Innovation is crucial to realize the modernization and industrialization of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), so its incentive methods influence mechanisms are worth exploring. Based on externality theory imprinting theory, this paper demonstrates significance external support internal resources in innovation TCM enterprises. This study adopts a sample listed enterprises China during 2007-2023 examine impacts differences between subsidies tax incentives enterprise innovation. deconstructed into five dimensions, including quantity (InNum), quality (InQua), substantive (SubIn), strategic (StrIn), inheritance (InhIn). It found that effect other dimensions firms generally stronger than incentives, except for Heterogeneity analysis indicates promoting more significant southern production region. Moreover, R&D investment mediates relationship Furthermore, executives with pharmaceutical backgrounds (EPB) strengthen impact various enterprises, while EPB only strengthens The findings provide new insights government promote

Porcine epidemic diarrhea virus (PEDV) is the major agent of recent outbreaks in piglets, which has caused huge economic losses to global swine industry. Since traditional vaccine strategies cannot provide complete protection for development safe, effective, and economical antiviral drugs urgently needed. For many years, Chinese medicines (TCMs) have been broadly applied viral infectious diseases, exhibiting advantages such as abundant resources, lower toxicity, minimal drug resistance. Many herbal monomers, single extracts derived from these drugs, recipes exhibit significant anti-PEDV effects vitro and/or vivo by targeting multiple sites perspectives, including inhibition life cycle, anti-inflammation effects, enhancement host immune response, modulation reactive oxygen species, apoptosis. However, date, no review published on TCM. Therefore, this summarizes current control PEDV systematically analyses research progress TCMs against PEDV. Furthermore, future directions integration nanotechnology artificial intelligence with are also discussed. This will a valuable reference studies research.

Hwa-byung (HB) is a culture-bound anger syndrome prevalent in Korea. While clinical practice guidelines emphasize mind-body modalities (MBMs) and psychotherapies for HB treatment, their implementation Korean medicine (KM) remains unexplored. Digital therapeutics (DTx) offers potential solutions treatment delivery barriers. This study investigated current practices among KM doctors perceptions on DTx implementation. A nationwide web-based survey of licensed KMDs (N = 864) was conducted South Korea (August-September 2024). The assessed practices, utilization MBMs psychotherapies, attitudes toward DTx. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Most utilized conventional treatments (acupuncture 95.4%, herbal 94.0%), while (26.2%) (21.3%) underutilized despite recognized importance. Primary barriers included time constraints (65.8%) insufficient knowledge (62.9%). Treatment typically required 15.6 ± 60.7 weeks with 21.6 37.4 sessions. limited (mean score 2.3 0.9/5), most (70.6%) expressed interest development, 65.4% willing to implement it practice. estimated appropriate cost 24,441.5 13,566.0 KRW per session. reveals significant gap between particularly implementing psychotherapies. positive attitude suggests its as practical solution bridge this by providing accessible, standardized evidence-based psychological interventions within existing workflows. Future development should focus addressing identified maintaining alignment principles.

Myocardial fibrosis (MF) is a common pathological manifestation of many cardiovascular diseases, such as myocardial infarction, ischemia, and sudden cardiac death. It characterized by excessive proliferation activation fibroblasts, transformation into myofibroblasts, and, eventually, deposition the extracellular matrix, resulting in heart damage. Currently, modern drugs angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors, diuretics, β-blockers can improve clinical treatment, but their therapeutic effect on this disease limited, with obvious side effects high cost. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has advantages multiple targets, low cost, few effects. medicines, Salvia miltiorrhiza, Astragalus, Angelica extracts, patent Qiliqiangxin capsules, Shenqi Yiqi dropping pills, Tongxinluo fibrosis. In review, current Western methods for treating are discussed. The signaling pathways targets involved treatment This review aimed to provide valuable insights ideas both basic research
