The objective of the study was to determine antidiabetic and antihyperlipidemic effects Mangifera camptosperma leaves extract using streptozotocin-induced animal model. ABSTRACT Diabetic nephropathy, a serious diabetes complication, lacks effective treatments. Traditional Chinese medicine Zuogui Pill (ZGP) and Yougui (YGP) have definite clinical adjunctive effect on diabetic nephropathy. Given their similar compositions, studying shared mechanisms could provide novel perspectives into discovering therapeutic targets for Extraction of ZGP (EZP) YGP (EYP) was prepared by in vitro digestion. EZP EYP inhibited the gene expression FN1 MMP9 renal fibrosis cell model. A transcriptional regulatory network revealed mechanisms, with HIF1A as key transcription factor.
