The hairy roots (HRs) of Scutellaria baicalensis are widely used and consumed worldwide as a medicine, especially in Asian countries, due to their biological pharmacological activities. HRs this plant rich secondary metabolites. However, the optimal method solvents for extraction metabolites from S. have not been well studied. Therefore, study, were extracted with different solvents, including water (WE), 99.9% pure methanol (PM), 70% aqueous (AM), ethanol (PE), (AE). phenolic flavonoid compounds various antioxidant activities each extract measured. AE (16.85 ± 0.15%) had higher yield, which led highest accumulation total content (TPC) (TFC), activity. TPC TFC (66.03 0.44 mg GAE/g 40.11 1.31 QE/g, respectively), whereas WE, PM, PE showed lower values all assays. In addition, activities, such DPPH, ABTS, SOD-like scavenging reducing power, achieved compared other solvent extracts. Based on these results, highlighting its potential use manufacture useful materials novel applications.

Nanoparticles (NPs) of metals and metal oxides have received increasing attention regarding their characteristic behavior in plant systems.
