Sustainable agriculture is a global imperative to meet the challenges of food security and environmental protection. Plant Growth-Promoting Bacteria (PGPB) have emerged as key players in sustainable agricultural practices due their diverse roles enhancing plant growth, nutrient uptake, stress tolerance, disease resistance. This review explores facts about PGPB potential applications agriculture. The begins by elucidating mechanisms underlying PGPB-plant interactions, including phytohormone production, solubilization, biocontrol activities. delves into intricate signalling networks involved PGPB-induced systemic In addition, this discusses pivotal role PGPBs mitigating abiotic stresses such drought, salinity, heavy metal toxicity, highlighting contributions climate-resilient ecological implications application are discussed, emphasizing need for responsible environmentally friendly practices. Furthermore, use holds great promise addressing sustainability. provides comprehensive overview multiple roles, action, PGPB, while importance sound approaches realizing full resilient future.

In light of expected climate change, it is important to seek nature-based solutions that can contribute the protection our planet as well help overcome emerging adverse changes. an agricultural context, increasing plant resistance abiotic stress seems be crucial. Therefore, scope presented research was focused on application botanical extracts exerted positive effects model plants growing under controlled laboratory conditions, subjected sorbitol-induced osmotic stress. Foliar spraying increased length and fresh mass shoots (e.g., from Taraxacum officinale, Trifolium pratense, Pisum sativum) roots Solidago gigantea, Hypericum perforatum, cabbage seedlings grown stressful their content photosynthetic pigments (Pisum sativum, Lens culinaris, perforatum) along with total phenolic compounds (Hypericum Urtica dioica). The antioxidant activity measured use DDPH dioica, perforatum), ABTS (Trifolium Symphytum Valeriana officinalis, culinaris), FRAP (Symphytum officinale) assays also enhanced in exposed Based these findings, most promising formulation based officinale selected transcriptomic analysis. modification expression following genes noted: Bol029651 (glutathione S-transferase), Bol027348 (chlorophyll A-B binding protein), Bol015841 (S-adenosylmethionine-dependent methyltransferases), Bol009860 Bol022819 (GDSL lipase/esterase), Bol036512 (heat shock protein 70 family), Bol005916 (DnaJ Chaperone), Bol028754 (pre-mRNA splicing Prp18-interacting factor), Bol009568 Hsp90 Bol039362 (gibberellin regulated Bol007693 (B-box-type zinc finger), Bol034610 (RmlC-like cupin domain superfamily), Bol019811 (myb_SHAQKYF: myb-like DNA-binding domain, SHAQKYF class), Bol028965 (DA1-like Protein). Gene Ontology functional analysis indicated extract led a decrease many related response systems, which may confirm reduction level oxidative treated biostimulants. conducted studies showed innovative plant-based products crops used supplement current cultivation practices.

Abstract Background Natural and synthetic plant growth regulators are essential for health, likewise these also play a role in increasing organic production productivity improving quality yield stability. In the present study, we have evaluated effects of foliar applied regulators, i.e., moringa leaf extract (MLE) mepiquat chloride (MC) alone combination MC MLE on conventional cotton cultivar (CIM 573) transgenic one 598). The were at start bloom, 45 90 days after blooming. Results application blooming significantly improved relative rate, net assimilation number bolls per plant, seed yield. Likewise, combined boosted nitrogen uptake locules, as well phosphorus potassium leaves both cultivars. has considerably leaves, contents locules Bt Similarly, treated with produced higher ginning out turn oil contents. Treatment (MLE + MC) micronaire value, fiber strength, staple length cultivar. Conclusion natural enhancer, is rich source minerals zeatin, nutrient absorption
