Self-compassion, sharing some commonalities with positive psychology 2.0 approaches, is associated better mental health outcomes in diverse populations, including workers. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there heightened awareness of importance self-care for fostering at work. However, evidence regarding applications self-compassion interventions work-related contexts has not been systematically reviewed date. Therefore, this systematic review aimed synthesize and evaluate utility targeting well-being, as well assess methodological quality relevant studies. Eligible articles were identified from research databases ProQuest, PsycINFO, Science Direct, Google Scholar. The non-randomized trials randomized controlled was assessed using Newcastle-Ottawa Scale Quality Assessment Table, respectively. literature search yielded 3,387 titles which ten studies met inclusion criteria. Summary Burgeoning organizational research has begun to explore how self‐compassion or the compassion individuals give themselves in times of suffering may positively contribute outcomes. (1) Background: The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted attention on the importance of certain variables in predicting job performance. Among these, mental health is one main affected by this pandemic. Existing research on person–organization (P-O) fit (POF) has ignored other-centered mechanisms in explaining why high levels of with the work environment increase employee’s organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). Using four factors involved compassion process (common humanity, empathic concern, kindness, mindfulness), this article investigates employee as a mediator that explains POF affects OCB directed toward individuals (OCBI) and organization (OCBO). Our structural equation modeling analysis 280 Spanish hotel employees reveals mediates relationship between OCBs. However, considering employment contract sample (temporary, permanent), mediation for OCBO was partial full among permanent temporary staff, respectively. These findings suggest staff who their are more likely to be sensitive others’ setbacks misfortunes, lessening or alleviating them (compassionately) by performing compared staff’s response is compassion-driven.

Helping professionals working with people who have experienced trauma are at risk of developing psychological distress.
