Abstract Background Senior nursing students’ perceptions of their professional preparedness help them perform role confidently and independently in the future. This study examines the significance of paths: (1) from social support to career adaptability, (2) work value (3) self-esteem (4) adaptability via self-esteem, and (5) self-esteem. A total 265 students Faculty Education Universitas Negeri Malang who participated in Asistensi Mengajar (AM) Program were selected using a simple random sampling technique. Four instruments used collect data: Career Adapt-Abilities Scale (CAAS), Work Value Inventory (WVI), Self-Esteem Scale, Social Support Scale. The data analysed path analysis. findings revealed that all paths have values below 0.05, indicating proposed are acceptable. analysis also shows has direct effect on with coefficient 0.160, while exhibits more substantial 0.412. Self-esteem directly influences 0.435. Indirectly, impacts 0.070, 0.179. effects calculated be 0.230 0.591, respectively. These results suggest pronounced compared value, primarily due its stronger underscores critical role as mediator enhancing through values.

Introduction This research explores the impact of Tai Chi, a traditional Chinese martial art, on career adaptability college students, utilizing quasi-experimental design. With increasing complexities in transition from school to work, effective interventions that address both psychological and vocational needs are essential. Methods The study involved 70 senior randomly assigned either an intervention group participated organized 8-week Chi program based positive youth development (PYD) or control with no intervention.
