Purpose. This study aimed to compare stress levels among Jouf University students from medical and non-medical colleges. Methods. A cross-sectional design was used conduct this on 120 of both genders two colleges: the College Applied Medical Sciences Arts Sciences. The researcher randomly selected as an example a clinical academic theoretical study. inclusion criteria were male female who free any psychological or physical disorders, voluntarily agreed participate in study, regularly followed their plan colleges at University, Qurrayat Branch. enabled researchers achieve aim by comparing between different disciplines: theoretical. BackgroundDepression, anxiety and stress among university students present a growing global challenge. This study aims to explore the prevalence of depression, anxiety, identifying their associated factors in Bangladesh.MethodsWe analyzed data 738 collected through cross-sectional survey. Outcome variables considered were levels. Explanatory several socio-demographic characteristics. Multinomial logistic regression analysis was employed association outcome with explanatory variables.ResultsWe found notable moderate severe levels Bangladesh, ranging from 25 % 71 %. Among extended families, there 32 lower likelihood experiencing depression (relative risk ratio [RRR], 0.68; 95 confidence interval [CI], 0.47–0.97) 35 (RRR, 0.65; CI, 0.44–0.97) compared counterparts without stress. Furthermore, enrolled business faculty reported significantly higher stress, 2.28 times greater odds (95 1.32–3.93) Science Engineering faculty.ConclusionThis underscores pressing necessity for tailored interventions address elevated Bangladesh. The findings accentuate importance recognizing diverse implementing mental health support programs.

Los estudiantes universitarios comúnmente se ven sometidos a situaciones estresantes que repercuten directa e indirectamente en el desarrollo de conductas saludables. Esta investigación tiene como objetivo determinar la influencia del estrés académico sobre conducta salud los un centro universitario Lima Metropolitana. Se realizó estudio no experimental, cuantitativo y correlacional, donde aplicó Cuestionario Conductas Salud Jóvenes Universitarios (CEV-JU) Inventario SISCO-21 académico, 708 estudiantes. resultados mostraron síntomas estrés, las estrategias afrontamiento estresores asociaron significativamente con nivel general algunas dimensiones. Asimismo, halló predictores más significativos fueron dimensiones síntomas. Esto muestra importancia diseñar aplicar programas intervenciones dirigidas gestionar adecuadamente para fomentar hábitos saludables universitarios.

Introduction The transition to higher education can be challenging for many students, requiring developing skills and strategies help them overcome various challenges. Adjustment university is a multifaceted process involving several dimensions. Given the difficulty that significant percentage of students face in this process, lack adaptation has been widely studied, as it often associated with academic failure dropping out school. To mitigate these risks, career interventions have emerged an essential support, helping develop personal resources such resilience, time management, decision-making capacity. aim here present intervention program focused on promoting adjustment success first-year undergraduate or integrated master’s evaluating participants’ feedback intervention. Methodology This aimed provide opportunity reflect their University, identifying possible areas vulnerability, providing personalized feedback, proposing modules learning development would favor process. Additionally, organize, systematize, make known support structures existing at University which resort situations psychosocial vulnerability development. was based used computer platform developed within framework SUnStar project. took place over 6 weeks using Teams consisted three modules, module two divided into different sessions topics. Seventy-four participated intervention, 56 (75.7%) whom were female. A questionnaire four Likert-type questions designed evaluate by students. Results session “Pursuing my UMinho Career: Institutional Support Structures” consistently received highest ratings across multiple evaluation criteria. In contrast, “Social Networks Cooperation” lowest, although all rated above average response point. results are discussed regarding relevance context implications future target group.

A bstract Background: The prevalence of stress among university students has emerged as a significant concern, with notable impacts on their academic performance and overall well-being. Despite the growing body literature association between mass index (BMI), physical activity (PA), stress, there is shortage research in Nigeria. Objective: This study aimed to investigate associations BMI PA female Materials Methods: cross-sectional survey design was employed, data were collected from convenience sample 301 undergraduate at Nigerian university. Perceived Stress Scale International Questionnaire—Short Form assessed PA. calculated participant’s weight height. Results: Participants’ mean 22.5 ± 3.8 68.4% falling within normal range. greater percentage reported low levels (60.8%) moderate (67.4%). There no relationship ( r = −0.090, P 0.131). However, level associated increased −0.131, 0.027). Conclusion: significantly influences stress. Universities should facilitate an exercise-friendly environment encourage programs for students.

In this study used a comprehensive survey instrument to examine the nexus of social support, academic assistance, and well-being among 190 university students, including 64 international 126 Indian with gender parity. Final-year students studying in various health science institutes are usually very stressed about their studies so that they can complete without any hurdles. This stress lead to poor academic and professional results because psychological issues such as anxiety depression frequently overlooked not treated. study aimed measure the prevalence of also assess level symptoms among final year institute Bangladesh. A prospective cross-sectional involving 134 final-year Bangladesh Health Professions Institute (BHPI), which is a well-known measured assessed using Academic Stress Scale (ASS-40). Data was collected through face-to-face interviews analysed SPSS software 25.0. Descriptive inferential statistics were used analyse data retrieved from students. Mental health is a critical aspect of overall well-being, influencing how individuals think, feel, and perform. among healthcare students has become major concern, drawing attention due to its profound impact on their welfare, academic performance, ability effectively interact with patients. This paper aimed explore the experiences undergraduate facing mental challenges at Qatar University. With focus understanding factors contributing issues exploring coping mechanisms, research also sought identify students' recommendations for institutional support improve well-being. A qualitative approach using semi-structured face-to-face interviews was employed collect data. purposive sampling method used recruit from five disciplines- Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Health Sciences Nursing- who had self-reported mild moderate depressive symptoms based Patient Questionnaire (PHQ-9) Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS21). total 15 were conducted, recorded, transcribed verbatim, thematic analysis key themes. Several themes emerged interviews, including pressure, social isolation, anxiety, fear failure, stigma surrounding support. Academic pressure consistently reported as stressor, anxiety emotional strain. Social isolation further exacerbated challenges, while many highlighted lack well-established strategies. Background Academic stress is a significant factor affecting students’ psychological well-being, particularly in higher education. Understanding the mediating roles of social support and self-efficacy can provide insights into how these factors influence well-being public private universities. Methods The study examined relationship between academic among university students Mogadishu, Somalia. Utilizing stratified sampling technique, data were collected from 663 across (52.6%) (47.4%) universities through structured questionnaire analyzed using path analysis to assess direct indirect effects. Structural equation modeling technique was used for analysis. Results revealed effect on (β = 0.087, p 0.001). Social significantly related 0.117, 0.031) =0.088, 0.021).
