E-learning platform (ELP) provides economic and efficient channels to share learn knowledge online without time location restrictions. Earlier studies have identified determinants that impact students’ intention use new technologies in different learning contexts, yet few tried investigate the effect of satisfaction basic psychological needs during adoption process. Based on framework UTAUT2, this study has tested mediating role better comprehend relationships between antecedents intention. The partial least square structural equation modeling was used for data analysis, findings indicate performance expectancy, value, hedonic motivation, habit significantly willingness adopt ELP college English study. As needs, it fully mediates relationship effort facilitating conditions, while partially habit, aids grasping key factors increase offers recommendations participation, efficiency, their competence, autonomy, relatedness with ELP.

Informal English learning plays a crucial role in vocabulary learning, yet few scholars have explored the use of large language models for this purpose. In light this, our study, integrating Self-Determination Theory (SDT) and Unified Acceptance Use Technology (UTAUT), employed Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to investigate factors influencing 568 Chinese learners’ learning. Our findings identified six significant from those models—perceived autonomy, perceived competence, relatedness, performance expectancy, effort social influence—that significantly shape intentions behaviors towards utilizing Notably, expectancy emerged as most influential factor, while facilitating conditions did not impact usage intentions. This research offers insights future curriculum design policy formulation, highlighting importance understanding perspectives on technology education.

Virtual-reality business simulation games (VRBSGs) have garnered attention in management education. However, investigating the design of efficient VRBSGs from an integrated perspective social cognitive, self-determination, and cognitive load theories is crucial but under-addressed. Therefore, this study developed a VRBSG learning system to enhance students’ retailing pet nutrition. Specifically, investigated impact technological instructional support how can affect students' psychological needs load, improving their achievement. A total 214 undergraduate students were recruited as research participants, data collected analyzed using partial least squares method. The results showed that achievement experimental group playing improved significantly. Surprisingly, did not significantly influence anxiety. considered nutrition knowledge, prompt mechanism, successful feelings about materials content. This provide with good situated environment. These findings significant implications for use education, particularly field management.

Purpose This study aims to investigate factors that influence individuals’ continuance intention use massive open online courses (MOOCs) by using machine learning models. Design/methodology/approach Data was collected from 702 MOOC users major metropolitan cities in India through a network-based sampling and recruitment via various social media outlets (e.g. LinkedIn Facebook). Various algorithms along with explainable artificial intelligence (XAI) were employed Python PyCaret. Findings Results confirm pedagogy value, content interface ubiquity teacher presence satisfaction have positive effects on the continuous of MOOCs. Furthermore, value is chief driving force CI XAI helps clarify intricate patterns learner data, thus allowing more appropriate interventions. Practical implications The findings would be useful for developers formulate better propositions ensuring sustainable business higher growth rate market. Originality/value bridges gap existing literature providing novel approach. To best authors’ knowledge, this first earlier identifying leading intentions MOOCs, so research adds method exploring enhancing retention rates among learners.

Purpose The motivation to choose an electric vehicle (EV) is guided by principles of personal values, perceived rewards and preferences.
