A study on the influence of physical education teachers’ teaching beliefs and attributions of teaching success and failure on their effective teaching behaviors

The
study
aims
to
investigate
the
impact
of
physical
education
teachers’
teaching
beliefs
and
attributions
success
failure
on
their
effective
behaviors
by
examining
typical
quantitative
relationships
across
three
dimensions.
Five
cities
in
Henan
Province
were
selected
using
a
random
sampling
method.
Within
each
city,
two
survey
districts
randomly
selected,
from
district
six
eight
primary
secondary
schools
chosen,
culminating
total
64
surveyed
schools.
A
204
teachers
chosen
participate
this
study.
This
research
uses
questionnaire
surveys,
semi-structured
interviews,
t
-
F
-tests,
canonical
correlation
analysis
analyse
collected
data.
Results:
Teaching
experience
emerged
as
factor
influencing
beliefs,
failure,

Soft
skills
are
essential
to
helping
pre-service
physical
education
teachers
become
successful
people
after
completing
their
undergraduate
education.However,
it
is
miserable
that
in
the
lecture
process,
not
all
courses
integrate
improving
teachers'
soft
skills.This
research
aimed
examine
effect
of
8
weeks
service
learning
traditional
sports
games
on
prospective
teachers.Experimental
with
a
one-group
pre-test
and
post-test
design
was
used.The
population
this
study
were
for
5th
semester
2023
academic
year,
30
students.Sampling
taken
using
total
sampling
technique.In
collecting
data,
an
instrument
form
questionnaire
used,
which
prepared
developed
by
researcher.This
has
validity
value
0.49
-0.84
reliability
0.92.Quantitative
analysis
used
ideal
standard
deviation
average
value.Furthermore,
determine
difference
between
before
service-learning,
paired
sample
t-test
result
showed
significant
(Sig
.000or
<
0.05).This
concluded
after-service
have
better
score
compared
before-service
learning.In
service-learning
integrated
classroom
knowledge
actual
community
practice.
