This research aims to deepen the understanding of barriers and challenges faced by Roma parents, particularly mothers, in accessing pediatric services Serbia. The study found that distrust healthcare system, alongside cultural norms favoring traditional knowledge over medical advice, are key factors influencing mothers? decisions for their children. While generally perceived positively, significant infrastructural obstacles, especially rural areas, hinder access facilities. This study aimed to explore the effect of socioeconomic disadvantage accumulated in marginalised Roma communities (MRCs) on early childhood development and assess role selected indicators association between belonging MRCs vs. majority development.
