This
study
aimed
to
explore
the
effect
of
socioeconomic
disadvantage
accumulated
in
marginalised
Roma
communities
(MRCs)
on
early
childhood
development

challenges

Roma

mothers,

accessing
pediatric
services

system,
alongside
cultural
norms

traditional
knowledge
over
medical
advice,
are
key
factors
influencing
mothers?
decisions
for
their
children.

generally
perceived
positively,
significant
infrastructural
obstacles,
especially
rural
areas,
hinder
access
facilities.
Special
attention
is
given
role
trust
between
workers
with
pediatricians
often
seen
as
crucial
allies
safeguarding
children?s
health.

need
improved
communication
sensitivity
when
working
community
foster
greater
system
enhance
health
outcomes
families.
