Preliminary results from randomized controlled studies as well identified molecular, cellular, and circuit targets of select psychedelics (e.g., psilocybin) suggest that their effects are transdiagnostic. In this review, we exploit the Research Domain Criteria (RDoC) transdiagnostic framework, to synthesize extant literature on psilocybin. We aimed identify RDoC-based psilocybin vistas for future mechanistic interventional research. A systematic search in electronic databases (i.e., PubMed, Scopus, PsycINFO, Web Science) performed January February 2021 English articles published between 1990 2020 reporting mental health measures. The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) proposed the Research Domain Criteria (RDoC) initiative as an alternate way to organize research mental illnesses, by looking at dimensions functioning rather than being tied categorical diagnoses. This paper briefly discusses motivation for and organization RDoC, then explores NIMH portfolio recent work monitor utility progress that RDoC has afforded developmental research. The roles of metabolic signals, including Glucagon-like peptide 1 (GLP-1), have been implicated in multiple domains outside regulation. There is a growing interest repurposing receptor agonists (GLP-1RAs) as therapeutics for motivation and reward-related behavioural disturbances. Herein, we aim to systematically review the extant evidence on potential effects GLP-1RAs reward system.

Abstract To assess the inter-relationships between residual depressive symptoms (RDS) and Internet addiction (IA) using network analysis among clinically stable adolescents with major psychiatric disorders during COVID-19 pandemic. RDS IA were assessed Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9) Addiction Test (IAT), respectively. Central bridge in model examined. A total of 1,454 met study criteria included analyses. The prevalence was 31.2% (95% CI: 28.8%-33.6%). In analysis, nodes IAT15 (“Preoccupation Internet”), PHQ2 (“Sad mood”), PHQ1 (“Anhedonia”) most central IA-RDS model. Bridge IAT10 (“Sooth disturbing about your use”), PHQ9 (“Suicide ideation”), IAT3 (“Prefer excitement online to time others”). Additionally, mood”) main node linking “Anhedonia” other clusters. common Core identified this could be prioritized as targets for prevention treatment population.
