Stress management interventions for people with health conditions are numerous but they difficult implement and have limited effectiveness in this population. Virtual reality (VR) relaxation an innovative intervention that aims reduce stress. This review aimed synthesize evidence of VR (PROSPERO 269405).Embase, Medline, PsycInfo, Web Science were searched until 17th September 2021. The was carried out according Preferred Reporting Items Systematic Reviews Meta-Analyses. Effective Public Health Practice Project (EPHPP) tool assessed methodological quality studies.Searching identified 4550 studies. Eighteen studies (N = 848) included the review. Studies published between 2008 Eleven conducted Europe. Thirteen controlled trials. Participants mostly working-age adult outpatients experiencing anxiety or stress-related conditions. Other eating disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, psychosis. Five tested inpatients. All used a range nature-based virtual environments, such as forests, islands, mountains, lakes, waterfalls, most commonly, beaches promote relaxation. provided feasibility, acceptability, short-term increase EPHPP ratings 'strong' 11), 'moderate' 4), 'weak' 3).VR has potential low-intensity adults conditions, especially problems. Further research warranted on promising intervention.

This research explored the integration of real-time machine learning classification motor imagery data with a brain–machine interface, leveraging prefabricated exoskeletons and an EEG headset integrated virtual reality (VR). By combining these technologies, study aimed to develop practical scalable therapeutic applications for rehabilitation daily training. The project showcased optimized system designed assess train cognitive–motor functions in elderly individuals. Key innovations included acquisition protocol framework deep wavelet packet transform feature extraction. Comparative analyses were conducted traditional models such as Support Vector Machines (SVMs), Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) networks. performance was further enhanced through random hyperparameter search, optimizing extraction parameters achieve high accuracy (89.23%). A novel VR fishing game developed dynamically respond outputs, enabling interactive tasks coordination upper limb exoskeleton arms. While clinical testing is ongoing, demonstrates potential increasing ERD/ERS polarization rates alpha beta waves among users after several weeks approach offers tangible step forward creating effective, user-friendly solutions function rehabilitation.

As mental health issues increase worldwide, nature-based experiences are being recognized as alternative treatments for improving and well-being. Increasing urbanization precludes many people from accessing green spaces owing to time or physical limitations. Therefore, opportunities connect with nature through virtual technology is encouraged. We conducted a systematic review of studies on the psychological effects experiencing using technology. searched academic databases PubMed, Web Science, Scopus relevant assessed their quality Cochrane’s RoB 2 ROBINS-I tools. Twenty-one were included outcomes negatively synthesized by intervention characteristics (duration, observation position landscape, interaction, environment description, sensory type). Psychological classified into emotional recovery, cognitive stress reduction, other indicators. Emotional recovery was most consistently presented, natural contact alleviated negative emotions more than it elicited positive emotions. Additionally, interventions lasting 10 min showed consistent those less min. Moreover, an open field view led significant in-forest recovery. Despite some limitations, our findings will contribute development forest improve human
