Mental health among university students is a public problem in Chile, understanding that this population susceptible to mental disorders. The present study aimed determine the prevalence and variables influencing depression, anxiety, stress Chilean students.A representative sample (n = 1,062) of cross-sectional design were used. Bivariate analysis multiple logistic regression performed identify risk factors associated with symptomatology. They analyzed using descriptive statistics. A questionnaire sociodemographic was applied November 2022, addition depression anxiety scale (DASS-21), instruments excellent reliability (α 0.955; ω 0.956). On other hand, Questionnaire Problematic Alcohol Drug Consumption (DEP-ADO) applied. performed, followed by bivariate SPSS version 25. The showed value p <0.05; they declared statistically significant final model. Odds ratios (OR) adjusted 95% confidence interval (95% CI), which used independent predictors. The problems high, depressive symptoms 63.1% sample; 69.2% anxiety; 57% stress; 27.4% problematic alcohol consumption; 14.9% inappropriate marijuana consumption. Some 10.1% reported daily medication antidepressants and/or anxiolytics. Concerning for these were: being female, belonging sexual, not having children, use, prescription drugs. woman, sexual minorities, an adolescent, consuming medication. Finally, concerning stress, student dedicated exclusively academic activities, taking medication.Chilean presented high where female minorities seem be have greatest impact on susceptibility problems. Abstract Background Movement behaviours, such as sedentary behavior (SB) and physical inactivity, have become a public health issue due to their implications for mental health. We aimed evaluate association moderate vigorous leisure-time (MVPA) with presence symptoms disorders COVID-19 pandemic. Methods This is multicenter survey conducted undergraduate students from eight Brazilian universities between October 2021 February 2022 using online questionnaire. outcome variable was anxiety depression, assessed by Depression, Anxiety, Stress Scale-21. total sitting time, being individuals ≥ 9 h/day were classified high SB. MVPA evaluated based on weekly frequency, duration, type exercise. Subsequently, ratio spent (minutes/day) (hours/day) calculated, considered cutoff point 2.5 min each hour. To assess explanatory variables, multivariable logistic regression performed. Results A 8,650 participated study, average age 23.9 years (SD: ± 6.34). In multivariate analysis, odds [OR: 1.37 (95% CI: 1.24–1.50)] depression 1.61 1.47–1.77)] higher h per day. analysis relationship SB, not engaging hour increases 1.44 1.31–1.58)] 1.74 1.59–1.92)]. Introduction: The Chilean child and adolescent population have serious mental health problems. Therefore, the ability to regulate emotions becomes a critical skill. Objective: This study aimed estimate psychometric properties of Trait Meta-Mood Scale (TMMS-24) in its abbreviated version population. Method: Cross-sectional validation was carried out on 636 children adolescents. Exploratory factor analysis (EFA) confirmatory (CFA) were performed examine scale's structure this Results: Internal consistency showed robust results (α = 0.931; ω 0.932) indicating high reliability. Using Varimax rotation, exploratory identified three significant factors explaining 57.95% total variance. CFA suggested good model fit with an RMSEA (0.061), CFI (0.934), TLI (0.923). Parsimony indices indicated adequate PCFI (0.802) PNFI (0.781). Convergent validity also supported by correlations between TMMS-24 dimensions depression, anxiety, stress measured DASS-21. Conclusion: These findings suggest that has validated properties, allowing use as reliable tool assess most relevant variables emotional intelligence such Emotional Attention (EA), Clarity (EC), Regulation (ER) adolescents educational contexts.

Knowing the state of mental health research in adolescents and youth can be an important tool for decision-making, especially contexts limited resources. The aim this study is to map scientific on adolescent Chile using ontological framework. We have mapped population articles Scopus, Web Science, SciELO databases onto ontology. PRISMA reporting guidelines were used screen 1688 items based relevance, duplication, version. corpus 346 was coded into ontology through iterative process among seven authors. This mapping shows isolated efforts that been carried out explain whole youth. There a lack coordination between priorities established by decision-makers researchers. Our results coincide with need strengthen country, prioritizing those topics contribute decision-making needs population.
