Introduction. Burnout syndrome is a manifestation of chronic stress characterized by emotional, mental and physical exhaustion, caused occupational stressors represented three dimensions: emotional depersonalization decreased personal performance. Based on a large-scale nationally representative survey in China, this paper uses the exogenous impact of automation working hours as instrumental variable to examine time’s perceived mental disorders, basis dealing with endogeneity. Background Respiratory therapists (RTs) play a vital role in healthcare, specializing the treatment and management of heart lung conditions, particularly during COVID-19 pandemic. Despite importance RTs, little attention has been paid to RTs Chinese health system. This study aimed understand describe work experiences career development expectations China. Methods utilized qualitative research design conducted semi-structured, in-depth, audio-recorded interviews with 16 aged 28–40 years, purposively selected from six regions mainland China May June 2024. Qualitative thematic content analysis was identify group themes that emerged discourse. Interviews were transcribed analyzed using analysis. Results Four key identified: (1) “Complex Career Motivation” delves into trajectories adaptations RTs; (2) “Positive Feedback” explores feelings job satisfaction accomplishments; (3) “Uncertain Predicament” sheds light on negative impact multidimensional challenges; (4) “Demand-Driven Future Outlook” reflects RTs’ urgent for professional advancement. Workplace violence (WPV) against healthcare workers (HCWs) is a global issue. Our research aimed to elucidate the status and associated factors of WPV among front-line/non-front-line HCWs during COVID-19 pandemic. This cross-sectional study was conducted in Hangzhou City through multistage sampling from December 2020 January 2021. included 14 909 valid samples (N=3748 front-line N=11 161 non-front-line HCWs). We assessed by Chinese version questionnaire. Binary logistic regression model established examine experiencing WPV. The total prevalence equalled 37.25% for 27.73% HCWs.
