Abstract Background In China, about 18.70% of the population aged 60 years and older are at risk low personal mastery as well anxiety depression for a variety reasons. The purpose this study was to construct symptom network model relationship between anxiety, depression, in community-dwelling adults identify central bridge symptoms network. Methods Depression, were measured using Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9), Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale (GAD-7), Personal Mastery (PMS), respectively. A total 501 16 communities Changzhou Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province, surveyed by combination stratified sampling convenience methods. R language used Results (1) structure anxiety–depression–personal stable, with “Nervousness” (node GAD1, strength = 1.38), “Sad mood” PHQ2, 1.22), " Inability change” PMS2, 1.01) “Involuntarily” PMS3, 0.95) symptoms. (2) “Irritability” GAD6, 0.743), 0.655), “Trouble relaxing” GAD4, 0.550) connecting depressive symptoms, mastery. (3) comparison test (NCT), residence, somatic chronic comorbidity gender had no significant effect on structure. Conclusions construction opens up new possibilities mechanisms action intervention formulation psychological disorders adults. identification (e.g., nervousness, sad mood, inability change, involuntarily) irritability, trouble relaxing) sense can provide scientific basis development precise interventions.

Abstract Background The co-occurrence of depression and anxiety is relatively more common among adolescents. Emerging evidence suggests that adaptability might affect this phenomenon. Network analysis can provide insight into the dynamics between symptoms mental disorders. Therefore, we used network 1) to explore symptom networks 2) investigate association based on a longitudinal design. Methods 833 Chinese adolescents (449 males 384 female) were recruited, with adaptability, depressive measured at T1, 426 them followed up one year later T2. Symptom constructed for all participants two groups their scores T1. Furthermore, mediation was performed examine relationship bridge both timepoints. Results Irritable Guilty showed highest expected value T1 ( p < 0.05). high group’s (HGN) less connected than low (LGN) 0.001). (T1) (T2) sequential mediators 0.001) (T2). Conclusions These findings suggest dynamics, underscoring its importance occurrence being may indicate interventions target in comorbid anxiety.

Introduction Previous coronavirus, 2019 (COVID-19) research has applied network analysis to examine relationships between psychopathological symptoms but rarely extended potential risk and protective factors or the influence of COVID-19 infection history. This study examined complex inter-relationships symptoms, COVID-19–related stressors, perceived social support, history among Chinese university/college students during peak fifth pandemic wave using a approach. Methods A Least Absolute Shrinkage Selection Operator–regularized partial correlation Gaussian graphical model was constructed in 1,395 Hong Kong who completed survey 15 March 3 April, 2022. Depressive, anxiety, acute/traumatic stress were measured by Patient Health Questionnaire-9, Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7, Impact Event Scale-6, respectively. stressors support measured. Network differences (COVID-network vs. no_COVID-network) communities examined. Results Our results showed that most influential nodes depressed mood, uncontrollable worries, thoughts about COVID-19. The main bridging concentration problems psychomotor problems. COVID-network, comprising participants with only, significantly stronger than no_COVID-network. Perceived from conflicts family/friends formed unique community negative cognition suicidal idea COVID-network only. Conclusion findings indicate specific interventions targeting interpersonal as well facilitating buffering effects may represent effective strategies reduce psychological distress should be considered for future preparedness.

To examine the network structure of depression and anxiety symptoms their association with Family Health among middle-aged older people in China. This was a quantitative cross-sectional study, total 3,365 over 45 years were recruited, comprising 1,748 males 1,617 females. Data collected by using Patient Questionnaire-9, Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7, Short Form Scale. The stable, "Fatigue" "Restlessness" central bridge symptoms. "Family, social or emotional health process" "Family Healthy Lifestyle" exhibited significant positive correlation, whereas resources" "Suicide" demonstrated negative correlation. are targeted for preventing comorbid adults, enhancement could be crucial averting onset within this demographic group.

Introduction With the rising demand for medical services and associated burden, work-related stress mental health issue have garnered increased attention among healthcare workers. Anxiety, cognitive impairment, their comorbidities severely impact physical as well work status of The network analysis method was used to identify anxiety impairment workers using Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale (GAD-7) Perceived Deficit Questionnaire Depression (PDQ-D). We sought core symptoms with comorbidity in Methods study conducted by Shandong Daizhuang Hospital Qingdao Mental Health Center China from September 13, 2022, October 25, involving a total 680 participants. GAD-7 PDQ-D were utilized assess respectively. Regularized partial correlation employed examing expected influence predictability each item within network. Statistical visualization performed R software. Results mean score 3.25, while 15.89. PDQ17 “Remembering numbers”, PDQ12 “Trouble get started” PDQ20 make decisions” emerged central anxiety-cognition GAD6 “Irritable”, GAD5 “Restlessness” GAD1 “Nervousness or anxiety” identified most critical bridge connecting cognition. Gender found be unrelated global strength network, edge weight distribution, individual weights. Conclusion Utilizing (i.e., Remembering numbers, Trouble started, decisions, Irritable, Restlessness Nervousness anxiety) primary intervention points may aid mitigating serious consequences anxiety,
