Background Social intelligence (SI) is of great importance in the success counseling and psychotherapy, whether for psychologist or artificial systems that help psychologist, as it ability to understand feelings, emotions, needs people during process. Therefore, this study aims identify Intelligence represented by its large linguistic models, “ChatGPT; Google Bard; Bing” compared psychologists. Methods A stratified random manner sample 180 students psychology from bachelor’s doctoral stages at King Khalid University was selected, while models included ChatGPT-4, Bard, Bing. They (the psychologists AI models) responded social scale. Results There were significant differences SI between AI’s ChatGPT-4 exceeded 100% all psychologists, Bing outperformed 50% PhD holders 90% holders. The Bard bachelor not significant, whereas with PhDs significant; Where excel on Bird. Conclusion We explored possibility using human measures entities, especially language results indicate development understanding emotions behavior related very rapid. will psychotherapist a deal new ways. be aware possible areas further given their benefits psychotherapy. Abstract There is a mental health crisis in the United States that shows no signs of abating. Prevalence rates disorders among both adults and children are rising there simply not enough professionals to meet growing demand. To address this problem, digital programs being designed diagnose treat conditions either adjunctively human clinician or as stand-alone treatments. Such developments hold great promise ameliorating professional supply shortage. However, certain limitations may prevent many users from desiring psychotherapist. This paper surveys promise, limitations, psychotherapies.

BACKGROUND Depression has gradually become a common psychological disorder among children and adolescents. in adolescents affects their physical mental development. Psychotherapy is considered to be one of the main treatment options for depressed However, our understanding global performance progress interventions depression (PIDCA) research limited. AIM To identify collaborative networks this field explore current status hotspots through bibliometrics. METHODS Articles reviews related PIDCA from January 2010 April 2023 were identified Web Science Core Collection database. The Charticulator website, CiteSpace VOSviewer software used visualize trends publications citations, (countries, institutions, authors), hotspots. RESULTS Until 16, 2023, 1482 identified. number documents published each year citations had increased rapidly field. United States highest productivity most prolific institution was University London. Pim Cuijpers author. In context PIDCA, both reference co-citation analysis keywords co-occurrence 10 hotspots, including third-wave cognitive behavior therapy, short-term psychoanalytic psychotherapy, behavioral system family element modular treatment, mobile-health, emotion-regulation-based transdiagnostic intervention program, dementia risk later life, predictors efficacy intervention, risks intervention. CONCLUSION This bibliometric study provides comprehensive overview present. Psychological characterized as psychological-process-focused, short, family-involved, modular, internet-based, emotion-regulation-based, personalized may benefit more young people.

Abstract Background and Objective Depression is a substantial public health issue, with global ramifications. While initial literature reviews explored the intersection between artificial intelligence (AI) mental health, they have not yet critically assessed specific contributions of Large Language Models (LLMs) in this domain. The objective systematic review was to examine usefulness LLMs diagnosing managing depression, as well investigate their incorporation into clinical practice. Methods This based on thorough search PubMed, Embase, Web Science, Scopus databases for period January 2018 through March 2024. used PROSPERO adhered PRISMA guidelines. Original research articles, preprints, conference papers were included, while non-English non-research publications excluded. Data extraction standardized, risk bias evaluated using ROBINS-I, QUADAS-2, PROBAST tools. Results Our included 34 studies that focused application detecting classifying depression data social media texts. such RoBERTa BERT demonstrated high effectiveness, particularly early detection symptom classification. Nevertheless, integration practice its nascent stage, ongoing concerns about privacy ethical implications. Conclusion exhibit significant potential transforming strategies treating depression. We introduce CounseLLMe as a multilingual, multimodal dataset of 400 simulated mental health counselling dialogues between two state-of-the-art Large Language Models (LLMs). These conversations - 20 quips each were generated either in English (using OpenAI's GPT 3.5 and Claude-3's Haiku) or Italian (with Haiku LLaMAntino) with prompts tuned also the help professional psychotherapy. investigate resulting through comparison against human on same topic depression. To compare linguistic features, knowledge structure emotional content LLMs humans, we employed textual forma mentis networks, i.e. cognitive networks where nodes represent concepts links indicate syntactic semantic relationships dialogues' quips. find that LLM-LLM matches one humans terms patient-therapist trust exchanges, 1 5 contain along 10 conversational turns versus $24\%$ rate found humans. ChatGPT Haiku's patients can reproduce feelings conflict pessimism. However, display non-negligible levels anger/frustration is missing LLMs. LLMs' are worse reproducing patterns. All reproduced patterns increased absolutist pronoun usage second-person, trust-inducing, therapists. Our results realistically several aspects thusly release public for novel data-informed opportunities machine psychology.
