Abstract The global trend of advanced aging comes at the cost amplified onset age-related diseases. Dementia is a common multifactorial neurodegenerative disorder, which manifests with progressive declines in cognitive functioning and ability to perform activities daily living. As polices discourage institutionalized care, family members act as primary caregivers endure increased vulnerability physical mental health problems secondary care-related changes life routine relationships. Targeting clinically significant distress earlier stages through valid brief measures may promote caregivers’ wellbeing dementia care continuity/quality. This study aimed determine optimal cutoff score Depression Anxiety Stress Scale 8-items (DASS-8) convenience sample 571 European (Mean age = 53 ± 12 years, Italian 74.4%, Swiss 25.6%) three methods. K-means clustering classified into high- low-distress clusters based on DASS-8 19. Receiver operator curve (ROC) analysis using 48 7 cutoffs Zarit Burden Interview (ZBI) Three-Item University California, Los Angeles, Loneliness Scale-version 3 (UCLALS3), revealed two (12.5 14.5, area under (AUC) 0.85 0.92, p values < .001, 95% CI 0.82–0.88 0.89 0.94, sensitivity 0.81 0.78, specificity 0.76 0.89, Youden index 0.57 0.67, respectively). Decision modeling produced (9.5 14.5) for predicting low high caregiving burden loneliness, respectively. According median all (14.5) prevalence was 50.8%. Distress correlated key such burnout loneliness—in path analysis, scores were predicted by ZBI, UCLALS3, dependency, receiving help especially among older, female, spouse caregivers. Further diagnostic workup should follow confirm psycho-pathogenicity above 14.5. Investigations other countries/populations validity this score.

Dementia is a chronic progressive syndrome, with an entire loss of function in the late stages. The care this demanding condition primarily provided by family members, who often suffer from burnout, distress, and loneliness. This instrumental study aimed to examine factor structure, reliability, convergent validity, criterion cutoff scores short loneliness measure: Three-Item version University California, Los Angeles, Loneliness Scale (UCLALS3) convenience sample dementia caregivers (N = 571, mean age 53 ±12 years, 81.6% females). Exploratory confirmatory analyses were used structure UCLALS3 while receiver-operating characteristic (ROC) curve, including caregiving burden emotional distress as outcomes, was its cutoff. One accounted for 79.0% variance UCLALS3; it perfectly invariant across genders but variant at metric level countries. scale had adequate internal consistency (alpha 0.87), high item-total correlations (0.69 - 0.79), reduced alpha if item deleted (0.77 0.86), strong positive psychological (r 0.57 & 0.74, p values 0.01). Percentile ROC curve suggested two cutoffs (≥6 ≥6.5), which classified 59.3 59.4% participants having higher levels loneliness-comparable global among informal caregivers. Mann-Whitney test revealed significantly scoring ≥6.5 on UCLALS3. valid scale; may flag major clinically relevant symptoms caregivers, highlighting need tailored interventions that boost caregivers' individual perception social relationships. Diet, eating physical activity, sleep, smoking evaluated, health assessed validated Arabic version combined Depression, Anxiety, Stress Score (DASS-8). Academic achievement measured Subjective Achievement Scale (SAAS).A total 1677 participated in questionnaire. results linear regression taking SAAS score as dependent variable, showed that who have non-scientific versus scientific major (Beta = 0.53), having breakfast ≥ 4 days per week compared less than 2 0.28) significantly associated with higher scores. More psychological distress - 0.06) number out 0.07) lower scores. This first investigation on success relation profiles. Better demonstrated healthier well distressing status. Mental distress, non-specific symptoms of depression and anxiety, is common in chronic pelvic pain (CPP). It contributes to poor recovery. Women's health nurses operate multidisciplinary teams facilitate the assessment treatment CPP. However, valid cut-off points for identifying highly distressed patients are lacking, entailing a gap CPP management. This instrumental cross-sectional study identified statistically derived score Depression Anxiety Stress Scale-8 (DASS-8) among 214 Australian women with (mean age = 33.3, SD 12.4, range 13-71 years).Receiver operator characteristic curve, decision trees K-means clustering techniques were used examine predictive capacity DASS-8 psychiatric comorbidity, severity, any medication intake, analgesic intake sexual abuse. The prepared according STROBE checklist.Cut-off resulting from analysis ordered ascendingly. median (13.0) was chosen as an optimal predicting key outcomes. Women scores below 15.5 had higher intake.CPP above 13.0 express greater comorbidity polypharmacy. Thus, they may be specific target nursing interventions dedicated alleviating through management associated co-morbidities.At point 13.0, practical instrument recommending thorough clinician-based examination adequate management. useful evaluating patients' response efforts. Breast Cancer Associated Susceptibility Proteins Type 1/2 (BRCA1/2) promote cellular functioning by modulating NRF2-mediated antioxidant signaling. Redox failure in women with BRCA1/2 insufficiency increases the risk for breast/ovarian/uterine cancers. Risk-reducing salpingo-oophorectomy (RRSO) is a prophylactic surgery of reproductive organs, which frequently conducted age 40 to lower occurrence cancer mutations. However, abrupt estrogen decline following RRSO causes ovarian failure, implicates various physiological processes, resulting increased release free radicals and subsequent severe onset menopausal symptoms. Abstract Breast cancer impacts the psychological well-being of women, leaving them at risk developing depression, anxiety, and other stress-related disorders. The Depression Anxiety Stress Scales (DASS-21) is a widely used measure, although empirical evidence regarding its psychometric properties in breast population limited. purpose this study was to conduct an exhaustive analysis DASS-21 sample Spanish women diagnosed with cancer. Participants were 289 patients who completed questionnaires measuring life satisfaction, positive negative affect, flourishing, perceived stress, cancer-specific stressors. In terms validity based on internal structure DASS-21, adequate fit indices obtained for model three first-order factors (depression, stress) one second-order factor (general distress). Reliability coefficients (McDonald’s omega) ranged from .84 .95. Validity relationships variables also provided by moderate strong correlations indicators stress measures. results support use general distress context, where it may provide useful information design interventions patients.
