The main objective of this study was to investigate the effect burnout on suicidal behaviours and mediating self-esteem in relationship. A total 1172 healthcare professionals working Portugal’s private public sector organisations participated study. results indicate a high level among these that exhaustion (β = 0.16; p < 0.001) disengagement 0.24; positively significantly affect behaviours. Objective The objective of this scoping review was to explore, appraise and synthesize the current literature regarding incidence, factors influencing, prevention strategies related suicide risk among nurses. Methods An extensive search conducted using databases such as PubMed, Web Science, Medline, Embase from its formation June 20, 2024, specifically focusing on suicide-related behaviors nurses written in Chinese or English. Two researchers independently screened literature, disagreements were debated until a consensus reached. Data extraction for studies that included. process data synthesis carried out narrative analysis. Results study encompassed 40 papers 15 different countries. This found nurses’ ideation ranged 4.3 44.58%, while attempts 2.9 12.6%. The mental health and substance use of healthcare professionals are vital concerns given their socio-healthcare roles. This study explores whether (a) profession is associated withthe presence depression, suicidal ideation, or alcohol, tobacco, cannabis use, (b) profession, ideation predict use. To explore post-pandemic mental wellbeing status and identify positive factors influencing among nursing students. A cross-sectional survey of undergraduate students from three public colleges in Thailand was conducted. convenience sample 983 participants completed a paper questionnaire. The mean score 43.67 (SD=6.75, possible range 10-60). Mental negatively associated with participant's age class level while positively income, BMI, exercise hours/week, sleep hours/day, academic support, perceived social community involvement, grit. Background During the COVID-19 pandemic, concern has been raised about suicide risk among healthcare workers (HCWs). We investigated incidence and prevalence of suicidal thoughts behaviour (STB), their relationship with occupational factors, National Health Service HCWs in England between April 2020 August 2021. Methods In this longitudinal study, we analysed online survey data completed by 22,501 from 17 NHS Trusts at baseline (Time 1) six months 2). The primary outcome measures were ideation, attempts, non-suicidal self-injury. used logistic regression to investigate these outcomes demographic characteristics factors. Results stratified role (clinical/non-clinical). Time 1 2 surveys 12,514 7,160 HCWs, respectively. During a public health crisis, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, nurse leaders coordinate timely high-quality care, maintain profit margins, and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting wellbeing of nursing workforce.
