Abstract In China, coal miners are the primary workforce in mining, and among all patients with occupational diseases, 90% suffer from pneumoconiosis. Therefore, psychological problems resulting dual pressures of stress high risk diseases significant factors that affect development physical mental health even production safety. The Crown–Crisp Experience Index (CCEI) is a multidimensional questionnaire assesses state patients. This study aims to test reliability validity Chinese version CCEI using factor analysis, apply it miners. We recruited total 900 participants different stages including active miners, Coal Workers’ Pneumoconiosis (CWP) patients, retired evaluate questionnaire. A survey was conducted on three groups 1000 individuals each, pneumoconiosis determine detection rate each group. An analysis performed for group explore influencing anxiety. exploratory yielded six principal components accounted 79.389% variances. confirmatory showed Chi-square freedom ratio ( χ 2 /d f ) 1.843, root mean square error approximation less than 0.044, comparative fit index 0.938 Tucker–Lewis (TLI) 0.934. Cronbach's alpha coefficient 0.948, scale-level content (S-CVI) 0.88. Effective questionnaires were obtained 98.5%, 96.9%, 91.0% respectively, incidence rates being 21%, 35.8%, 13.6%, respectively. Compared higher levels dimensions depressive symptoms, free-floating anxiety somatic whereas had phobic symptoms. demonstrates highly reliable valid can be used as screening tool measure patients' fear minders. BACKGROUND: Studies have extensively examined the factors contributing to onset of occupational stress, burnout, and depression. However, relationship between these variables is limited. OBJECTIVE: This study aimed explore association depressive symptoms investigate mediating effect burnout stress in medical staff. METHODS: A cross-sectional survey was conducted among staff Chongqing, China. The Core Occupational Stress Scale (COSS), Maslach Burnout Inventory: General Survey (MBI-GS), Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9) were used assess status symptoms, respectively. bootstrapping analyses using SPSS PROCESS macros version 3 examine effects. RESULTS: on Chongqing revealed that detection rates 31.8%, 23.3%, 30.3%, Hierarchical regression analysis accounted for 19.3% (p < 0.001) 18.8% variance Mediation showed indirectly affected through with a mediation value 0.13 (bootstrap 95% CI: 0.116-0.144) accounting 44.8% total effect. CONCLUSION: Our results indicated predictors symptoms. had significant indirect via burnout. These suggest reducing could be effective strategies preventing depression

The coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) has created challenging working conditions in coal-production activities. In addition to the massive loss of resources for miners, it had a devastating impact on these individuals’ mental health. Based conservation (COR) theory and resource-loss perspective, this study examined COVID-19 risk, life-safety perceived job insecurity, work–family conflict miners’ performance. Moreover, investigated mediating role anxiety (JA) health (HA). data were collected through online structured questionnaires disseminated 629 employees coal mine China. analysis hypothesis generation conducted using structural equation modeling (partial least squares) method. results demonstrated that perception negatively significantly impacted addition, JA HA mediated relationships between conflict, findings can give coal-mining companies their staff useful insights into how minimize pandemic’s effects operations.
